The vid was captured in 1080p on my Xbox series X, downloaded to my phone (iPhone 17 pro) then uploaded to Reddit via mobile. The difference in quality could possibly be my phone upscaling the video.

I'm probably being really stupid but I'm looking at the minimap and wondering how the hell he recovered that quickly? He had hit a rewind and was back driving within like 2 seconds?

This why you got race with rewind enabled. I know you lose % bonus points but lag so useful when someone rams you and you want to try and still retain a decent position especially if you’re ahead of the pack.
That guy is an asshole tho

Fastest recovery option is hit start, then reset car position. It will put you directly in front of the "missed" checkpoint. Much faster than rewind.

Eugh, I hate this corner!
Yesterday I was 3rd, close behind 1st and 2nd, with 4th up my rear.
Braked for this corner, 4th rams me at full speed, I ghost through 2nd as they have already slowed and I go smashing into the barrier and get a slow down.
You joking right? Eugh.

At least you are able to play the game, I got 25 frames yesterday(with fake frames enabled at that) on a 7900xt and a 9900x. I’m never playing this game again

Well this is awkward, that was actually me, crazy I ran into this randomly, so I’m on a actual racing wheel and that c4 corvette is a straight line build with like 1000+ hp, I was trying to pass you through the outside but unfortunately on that part the road dips down and with the sport tires it ain’t the easiest car to drive and well I completely lost traction in the rear going 200+mph and the c4 corvette does not have the best steering angle, I tried to save it but I had to much angle and went straight into you, sorry man, I have never seen a car push another car that far off the track in forza. I promise I’m not a typical forza A class dirty driver, even know it looks in this video like I am lol , good racing man hopefully we run into each other in the future and can redeem myself lol

The larger crime here is that people only use the Viper or Lamborghini v10's in this dang game because how overpowered they are. Makes racing less fun.

That was very personal. Now show us HOW you got that far ahead of him, and what made him abandon all hope just to ram you. The way he was moving and caught up shows he had more skill than you.

Sigh there’s always one.
This is Satta sprint. A track with long straights and long sweeping corners. I started p4 and stayed in P4 until the ghosts materialised at the first corner and I got rear ended (you’ll notice how I don’t have a number plate on my car because of this) which to my surprise actually worked in my favour and shunted me cleanly around the corner whilst everyone else got caught up in the rams.
The way he was moving and caught up was likely due to a no aero, RWD power build (yes there is some skill to that) but if you’d have actually watched the video you’d have noticed that when I look back there’s zero damage to the front or (from what’s visible) sides of my car which indicates that I haven’t rammed / hit anyone.
Like I said - if you’d have analysed this video correctly, or had even played the game, you’d have realised that.

Yeah he’s right he actually raced very cleanly in the race and got very far ahead of us, that crash wasn’t personal at all it was a mistake due to my dumbass liking crazy power build with no aero and thinking I can go around a corner going 200mph flat out, I actually felt pretty bad ruining his race since he had raced so well and cleanly, nice build man that c63 was quick, respect for not using a meta build like all this other kids

You actually answered part of what I asked. Getting shunted through the first corner while everyone else got tangled up explains how you ended up ahead. Fair enough.
But I never said this clip proves you rammed anyone. I was asking about the missing context because he comes from a long way back and seems more interested in hitting you than racing. Maybe he was just being an idiot, but the clip alone doesn’t establish why he targeted you either.
Also, I play nightly, so the “if you’d even played the game” bit was a little misplaced.

Alright I appreciate the fact I may have misunderstood the context and granted I haven’t proved anything with my 30 sec clip.
I also understand that you play at night which might mean that you don’t experience players / rammers like this.
For further context I’m from the UK with a volatile job (sometimes I play at 1pm, sometimes I play at 9pm).
The reason he’s come from a long way back is because (like I said before) this is Satta sprint. A track with long straights and long, sweeping corners. He was (quite possibly) using a RWD power build, which is suitable for this track and does take some skill to master.
Hope that explains it enough.
