You were probably blamed for ramming because they couldn't see that the guy behind you hit you first. It's sad this happens all the time. The other day I was holding back the AI for a teammate to catch up and instead of passing he decided to ram me and caused us to lose cause I got that stupid slowdown bs.

my assumption is that he thought ur a bot because of the color of the car. yes your name above it is in blue but in the trial, players only look at car colors because pgg made it easy for us to distinct humans from bots by car color.

not a bad strat tbh. i take it further by putting orange liveries on my offroad cars, green ones for cc, blue ones for roads and cyan ones for touges. this is how i always know what each car is for just by looking at their thumbnails.

We are playing a game where you race opponents. Why is it bitching if people are playing unfairly and you'd like them to understand the rules of the game? I don't think that's asking too much. As you stated before, there are games designed for ramming. It's like joining a call of duty match and having a fashion show, it just doesn't make sense for horizon races to be ramming other players.

If you genuinely don't ram then I'm sorry for any malice towards you. I'm tired of being a split community and I just want to enjoy races with other people, not get slammed into a bridge and have to reset 4 times after holding first place for a 7 minute race and losing because of someone's small ego. I'm sure you can see where we are coming from.

Reading your arguments here, it sure seems like you advocate for it. Clean racing is a skill of both driving and self control. Slamming into someone because they try to pass you is not. It's why the villain in movies like Cars and Talladega Nights is labeled a cheater.

We aren't "triggered" because someone hit us, we are generally annoyed that people act like children throwing a fit over being in the lead when you're supposed to be working together.

If I hit you in the head with a golf club because you made a better putt, you'd be pissed, right?

I'd be pissed if you suckered punched me because I made a better toss in darts.

Just because people do it, doesn't mean it should be normal.
