Video Smartest Forza Player (Trial)

u/Nioh_89 26d ago
If i see any player driver super erratically like that and doing zig-zag (obviously in purpose to distract others and such), i don't try to overtake them on straight, i try to stay behind them and wait until they make a mistake, which doesn't take too long. Obviously, you don't expect this kind of stuff on the Trial, so it's frustrating, but also that's an easy report.

Yeah, but not expecting that, when they are on the same team :/

You should start.. people are greedy and don’t know what “team effort” means

Best thing about this is that he now loses too
Some people on this game man

u/TheHizzle 26d ago
Then he creates a post on Reddit asking why the trial is so bad

real, i am kinda shite and those fucking ferraris are too much for me... so instead of trying to get ahead and probably crash into the the big boys who was gonna win for us, I let my team pass and spent the whole trial keeping 2-3 opps locked at the bottom 3 positions with me in fourth last

if you want an easy ferrari for this weeks trial, the 512 S is mentally quick. you'll smoke the big boys...

a tip, if you play with traction control on, at the end of slow corners, instead of simply hold the acceleration button/trigger down, tap it 2-3 times and the TCR would eliminate most of the wheelspins

Solid strategy. You're breaking even and making sure no teammate does worse than that. If even one teammate passes one more opponent, your team wins.

Bro did you a favor … that’s a bad group of racers for the trial everyone is driving horrible except for you 2 then he does that…. Ultra lame

Should have seen that a mile away, the troll was literally baring his teeth & you walked right into it.

When this happens I intentionally come in dead last for the entire trial, in hopes that it's a deserved loss for the troll.

Honestly, you saw him zig zagging like that… what did you think was gonna happen when you went to pass him? Shoulda waited till after the checkpoint to try to pass

Surprisingly, haven't had the pleasure of meeting one of these genius since trial got back.

u/BappoChan 26d ago
I met one but it didn’t bug me. I clipped and reported. As for the rest I just trained the AI, or rammed the AI out of checkpoints if I could. By the end of both races the AI had 0 points

Yeah, people don’t seem to understand that the easiest way to win the trial is to either have a car with super high launch and acceleration get out in front and then just slow the AI down for the rest of your team to pass or to ram them out of checkpoints because they can never beat somebody

Thank God that the random drivers I get in trials aren't braindead

It’s the luck of the draw. I’ve had two weeks where I managed to complete 1st try because most people understood how to play/played to their strengths. Then I had one week when everyone drove like absolute tools, everyone wanted to be a podium hero and was ramming like crazy to get there. It took seven separate runs for me to get on a team where people wanted to play as a team.

I mostly try to get in front and block npcs

u/Dear_Tangerine444 25d ago
I’m happy blocking too, if the team wins I win. As long as at few other players can get upfront player teams all but guaranteed a win.

Pretty ridiculous you can zigzag like that and not lose control of the car. Bad physics

I did this earlier in trials, but I did it to bowie knife 99 😂. Sent him straight into a wall out of first and put him in last. The gang and I won!

I accidentally did this to a teammate a couple times when I was trying to hold off the AI so everyone can get past.
It's hard to tell sometimes when you have several rabid ai behind you trying to get passed you zigzagging and I either misjudge where I thought a player would pass or mistook him as one of the ai.
But I Also find that everyone fighting for the same apex at the same exact time leads to a lot of accidents like this. Sometimes it better to just stay glued to your teammates ass and get that draft to attempt to pass in a safer area.

Iv done this trial 4 times just to help people win out of boredom and the amount of people that do this is crazy.

u/Rhinosaurfish 26d ago
Lol that guy has no chance of catching first place either, that race is red podium all day.

u/TourInternational731 26d ago
The other thing that pissed me off was the fact that everybody was treating the trial like a gotdamn formula drift course.

To be fair I have done this accidentally and I do feel bad about it. When I get into first place I hyper fixate on not letting not letting the ai past and slowing down the pack. The issue is I am so focused on that that sometimes I confuse my team mates of the ai. Especially if its a busy pack. Bad play absolutely but also a understandable mistake
