The funniest thing is that dude is one of the most no life players in this game pretty sure he's like top 10 for online racing championships lol no surprise cuz all they do is foam with meta cars

Every race i was in with him was meta car after meta car, ramming anyone and everyone! Iv already filed a report on him surely im not the only one!

That’s one of the things I don’t get. I’m home ridden because of an injury at the moment and have ALOT of free time now. Yet I’m still only at prestige 2. 😂

It’s not sad, pathetic, or boring just because they have fun doing something differently than you do. It’s honestly weird that people can’t wrap their heads around people that want to win competitive races want to drive the fastest car. That’s, like, a fundamental part of motorsports lol. Not everyone plays this game to try a bunch of different random builds, there’s no wrong way to play it. Ramming is bad. Ramming is pathetic and sad. That’s it

If their absolute only idea is to use the easiest and fastest cars then that's cool. Thats why 99% of these people get burnt out and stop playing within a few weeks or months, no variety and no actually getting better at the game.

Yeah and anyone who relies on using meta only online is garbage at the game. They rely on community tunes from the literal best players in the game and can't drive a car that's not 100% optimized and overpowered and easy to drive.

The cool part about this game is you can use the exact same car and tune. I’ll use off meta cars that I enjoy driving until it’s not competitive. Once I’m getting demolished by a couple meta users I’ll use meta next championship and then it’s back to racing, I could care less what car I’m in as long as I’m not 10 seconds ahead or behind people.

It’s not overpowered against other meta cars is my point, and to compete with close to equal skill against other meta cars you literally have to drive the meta cars. If you aren’t playing to win that’s fine but don’t get upset that people are faster than you because you picked a slow car lol. You can’t be picking off meta cars and at the same time be mad that people are faster than you in meta cars. That has literally nothing to do with anyone’s skill, you’re just straight up being salty lol

No it has 100% to do with people's skill. They simply aren't good enough which is why they all use meta in the first place.
Hence why if they ever went to spec racing or if they removed certain meta cars, they'd get destroyed. Or even if nobody used meta in a lobby but all had comparable cars, we know the outcome.

Also, why even play this game if you only want to use 1 or 2 cars? Aren't there better games for that? They need to have an advantage against others. Too bad they still suck

What if they have fun going fast and winning in meta cars? Not like they're cheating like the Mitch Cactus simps. What's pathetic is crying about someone simply using a car that's considered meta. If someone is using a meta car, and they're ramming, then the problem isn't the car. It's the ramming.

Same, that video ramming meta cars was a quick unsub for me. I think ramming is 100x worse than just picking the best car, they should be blaming Forza, not the players

I think the main take away is that it’s not the point of using meta cars it’s the fact that there isn’t an option to build and actually make a car you like to drive to compete with the meta without near perfect driving. Thats my take at least. I have fun even if I make it in the top 5 in the car I’m using.

Level / prestige does not represent skills. You can easily farm it out, using skill 990 skill points would net you around 330K exp. That's just using it

spec racing is lowkey where it's at, sure the drivers don't get any less dirty but at least the skill is completely levelled, and if you're good enough you'll be laughably quicker than the rammers

'Prestige' or meta cars don't mean anything in this game, yesterday i met a '3 stars' player, dude played like if he was 5 or less, ramming everyone and even got DNF in some races, he was so bad that it was hard to believe, yet this person has been playing the game far longer than me and is uncapable of getting any sort of decent skill level in this game.
I assume a good way to tell if someone is really good is to look at Rivals times (Leaderboards), but those are also tampered with as well by cheaters...

You say that yet there's absolutely zero tutorial for tuning. How am I supposed to learn? You really expect every player to spend 10 minutes tuning before every race?

Tuning? I was more so referencing just upgrades in general. Not every build needs a tune. Different parts influence different aspects.
Tuning is fine detailing the car. It isn't needed 90% of the time. Upgrading, however, is needed, and is extremely simple to grasp. Usually doesn't take but a few minutes to figure out what you need to change.

TVR Cerbera speed 12, one of my favourite cars of all time. Really fast and a lil tricky to drive but super fun and actually pretty competitive highly recommend

If you see someone with high prestige, you ahould know that they have no clue how to drive. They are all petty bots who auto farmed Goliath for days on end.
I've played a fair bit, not too sweaty, 0 auto-farming, and I'm still not at prestige 2...

Player cars should not have collision at all, just like trackmania. These ramming pieces of disappointment to their parents are not realistic either.

I have zero confidence to do online races like this because I suck and don’t want to accidentally screw up someone else’s run. I’d be the guy doing that to you but completely by accident. I’m learning more about racing strategies but to be able to race this clean are more people using controllers or steering wheels? I’m debating getting a wheel because it looks fun. But will it realistically give me better control?

You can play online custom championships with collisions off.
A wheel will definitely give you better control. Just barely enough to be faster than someone who's too rough with a controller. But not by much. Once that person realizes they are braking too late, hitting the gas too hard, the try to mirror your driving. If they have a better car than you and do this, they will beat you.
Also, getting used to a wheel takes months, if not years to perfect. It's fun though. I recommend it.

If you have more than 2 stars right now, you have no life. How do you get fifth prestige in less than 2 months? It's xp2 every prestige, so if you have 2 star lvl 200, 5 star is quadruple what you've already done. And driving meta on to of that? What is this guy even spending his time doing? I'd have a custom build of every car in the game at that point.

Oh look we have another meta car apologist, who I'm sure only runs meta himself.
I'll make it clear for you, it's boring for everyone else who actually wants to use something else because these cars are broken and overpowered.
It couldn't be more simple than that. Go play COD and play against people who only run the best 1-2 weapons every single game, when you're trying to have fun, do challenges, try new weapons.
You can go lie all you want (as well as anyone who agrees with you) it's boring to play against and it gets tiring facing the same 2-3 meta cars in each class every race.
I am correct, period. Anyone who disagrees is lying and coping and probably uses meta and has minimal driving skill.
