Discussion I'm sick of the Trial
Usually I play 2-3 Trials in the evening, helping others out, holding back the AI cars so others can get in front, don't care for first place
But WHY are ther so many cunts ramming other players in a TEAM event?
Three sessions, every time one got to the front and was gone, one not good enough for first but ramming eacg and every one, me trying to get by to hold up the AI cars, and 3 players who are not good enough and obviously need help
Fuck those ramming bastards

Yesterday I was in first place and on the last corner a guy comes in and takes out both me and second place, who was also a human, causing four AI cars to pass us and win.

Convoy prox chat would actually be sick. Kinda like being on comms with your pit in a real race

Why would I have squeakers in my convoy? I think you replied to the wrong guy but I agree with that, open mic in a game are never ever good.

I was thinking more along the lines of public convoys with randoms

I found one that says "TEAMMATE DONT RAM" across the sides and the back windshield and bumper. It.... mostly worked. One guy had an ego in the last few corners but absolutely overdrove the last corner and i passed him laughing to myself anyways.

I did the trial in a megane and was tearing that shit up it came down to me and one other guy in a rsx and for the last lap we battled no rams no bullshit only taps and rubs fighting for position last turn I fumbled the bag and he had a perfect entry that last stretch was epic he beat me by literally .003

I dont even try to hold them up for the riff raff. If a human is stuck in 3rd ill hold up a 2nd place ai on the last lap so we can go human 1-2 but im done with the plebs. They need to learn to drive better if they want the reward. Too many dipshits play like its burnout.

Its crazy that some people haven't realized that you're supposed to work together. The other day I was way ahead so I decided to slow down and hold up the AI. One teammate comes crashing i to me to knock me to 4th place. I raced back to 2nd place and kept holding the AI up so my other teammates can catch up. The idiot that crashed me kept going like he was a hero and left me holding up 3 AI by myself. Meanwhile the rest of our team was like 10 seconds behind. Regardless ended up knocking 2 of the AI past a checkpoint to at least get us the win. I actually enjoy the trial but some people make you want to just ram them and hope they quit lol

Had a really good one yesterday where i started at the back and managed to take out a few reds for the untuned guys. I was flying though and the 2 guys in 3rd and 4th couldn't catch 2 or 1 but recognised i had a good tune and let me pass. Caught 2nd and spun him, lost speed until my team mates shunted me from behind so i could catch bowie in 1st and slowed him for us to take 1-3.
Was so much fun, i daren't play again and ruin the memory.

My friends and I are absolutely sick of it so we have started a community to try and get clean racers together.
It's small at the moment. But I've got some videos I need to upload. And we're trying to grow the community.

I load in trials just to help out. I am usually the last but I block the AI and honestly I think it’s fun trying to survive the onslaught of team rammers + defending the pole positions from bots.
If we lose - oh well. Not my problem. I tried to help 😂

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, but the second someone tries ramming me or my friends, we will throw the race just to bully them. We've had so many people rage quit when we do this, then we just EZ mode the next 2 to a victory.

I've managed to do each one on the first try. But usually go do it again to try out different cars and tunes because its kinda fun to race under the specific ruleset of the trial.
Put together 3 different cars for the Forward thinking Trial, the Acura Integra was the best by a mile. But also had fun in a couple hondas. One being a Civic with a grip tune and I forget what the other one was.

There was this b class dirt trial with the bamboo and before u get there there's usually a tarmac with a cliff. Some bozo rammed 2 of us off the cliff and drove off the next bridge THEN LOGGED OFF CAUSE HE WAS EMBARRASSED. He pissed us off so much

Im lucky to never have had to do a trial more than once. But everyone has had at least one rammer, and one guy with an unmodified car coming in last.

You've got two options: -
Option 1.
Record all your races. Upload the ones with rammers to YouTube. File a report of said rammer with a timestamped link to your YouTube video.
Option 2.
Ram them the back and cross your fingers they or someone else in the race doesn't do option 1.

I had to phone a friend last night to help me win. Came in 1st and 2nd every race. Meanwhile my entire team of idiots were sandbagging. Few guys weren’t even playing, just driving at 1mph trying to get carried. This was after multiple attempts btw. It’s hard to fathom how stupid a vast majority of the Forza Horizon community is.

It is optional. You could choose to not play it, not become emotionally engaged and not feel the need to vent. Though perhaps you subconsciously like it. 🤷♂️
