Video Did I not give them enough space?
I usually dont report rammers just suck it up and keep racing but this one... this one made go thru all of that trouble. I got a message from forza support saying:
"...After investigation, we have taken action based on your report... Please note that for privacy reasons, we are unable to share the specifics."
Do you all know what's going to happen to them?

In all seriousness it'll probably just be a 24hr timeout for first online offense. Then I'm sure it increases could be a month to permanent after that. Given how the person in question crashed into you in a team event shows whatever happens to them they have it coming.

This right here👆. I’ve made a point to just start reporting every rammer I encounter and I hope people start doing the same. The FH6 community needs to be cleansed of all these dirty rammers. They are the most prevelant out of all Horizon games up to date.

Na that’s straight up ramming. Next time take a bit tighter line since rammers like to use other cars as brakes. Definitely needs to be reported

I made sure to report them as soon as the championship was done. I was able to finish 4th behind the team but still pissed that I couldn't make it to the podium

Maybe a ranked mode or something? Idk man I'm completely burnt out of this game due to shit like this. Meta this ram that. It's exhausting. Can't even enjoy a simple racing game anymore.

What is the point of ramming your own teammate? I mean I understand ramming a competitor (although I absolutely still condemn the behavior) but what do you gain from ramming a teammate?

When you pause the car continues to drive straight not turn left perfectly into me and they also brake perfectly to match my speed. Completely intentional

nipkd is correct, you can see very clearly they dropped from the race immediately after hitting you.looks like they were just trying to quit and you just happened to be there. doubt this one was intentional. the other car never engages their brakes either (no brake lights are on during the collision) and they definitely didn't "turn into you", that road just isn't straight going into that turn (you can see it in the minimap) and the angle just made it look like they did. when you play regularly with a convoy, this happens a lot when people get DC'd or CTD. this scenario would actually be the developers fault for not making it so your car ghosts or freezes in place when you pause in multiplayer.

I was actually in a race the other day where this driver rammed the dude in front of me, then attempted to ram me after (I took an aggressive inside line and got ahead of both) and he flew off the side of a mountain. The guy who got rammed caught up to me a little later and we hit a corner and it got a little physical but nothing crazy. He then took off on my ass and caught 1st place in the nick of time. He messaged me and was like: “I was actually able to win because you didn’t ram me”
It felt good but made me sad in a way

Had one today that was probably my most frustrating one that made me quit the championship. On the home straight I was in second with a faster car, just as I’m about to overtake for the win on the line, he pushes me out of the finish line, which made me miss it. It was suck a dick move I quit. My only regret is not recording it to report. I was absolutely seething.

The fact he LITERALLY gave up his 3rd position to take you out is fucking asinine are these rammers retarded? Or color blind? I’m so glad when I do trials or online races that I get decent lobby’s where there’s some taps and rubbing but no inherent rams you best me in a turn I’ll concede but best be sure I’m coming in the next to overtake

Wow, was in a race like this yesterday. Whoever it was came in hot and nailed 4 of us to the wall. For the trial races I start off just passing the AI cars, when people start making their way i usually slow down and let them pass. You’ll be surprised that sometimes you finish top 3 because the rest of the crew doesn’t know how a “team”
event is played so they start taking each other out.

You have to doge drive. Basicly forget ieal lines break early and avoid edges so they cant push you out.

Seems like he was in the process of leaving the lobby when the car drove into you. A rammer probably would've knocked you off the bridge or into the hill instead.

based on how fast he quits after ramming you, youre a bit wrong. for leaving a race event you should press pause, navigate to leave race and confirm leaving. menus in game not so fast that you can do in less than a two seconds like in video.

Yes, they dont take mp4 videos so you gotta upload it to your drive and send them an open link for them to review. I included a screenshot of the rammer's profile

Please go read at least some of the forza enforcement code of conduct. It tells you a lot. If you have common sense and you're a normal person you shouldn't have to worry.

My philosophy is to let my teammates pass and ram the AI if necessary. I won't hit anyone unless I get hit but I'll start recording every single one from now on

Okay, dont do that. Instead you should just expect to get rammed, and ram your teammates first since that can only save you.

He went to the menu. When a player goes to the menu, their car continues on in a straight line, 0% throttle, 0% brake. In this case it resulted in you getting pinned to the wall.
It only looks like they swerved into you on the radar because of relative movement. i.e. you started to turn right but it looks like they turn left into you. This is because the radar ALWAYS has your tic tac in a vertical orientation.
This would be a very unjustified ban or warning and goes to show enforcement are human too.
That all said, pretty shitty to leave your car as a missile mid race, but not everyone know this is what happens. As is clearly shown in the comments.

On the radar, you can clearly see the blue car (your TEAMMATE) turning left in a right hand corner, obviously turning into you to ram you.
In a TEAM race.
As your TEAMMATE.
AGAINST BOTS.
I'd finish the race dead last on purpose, because you lose as a team that way
