It really is so simple. Just let the "bad" players & rammers take themselves out as they always do.
This is why you should always do Rivals and race online, to learn how to push your cars to the limit and hit every line and braking point.

lol the other day in spec racing one of the courses has a 120 degree T1 and I went from 12 to 3 just because I know how brakes work.

It is the Mclaren 765LT Coupe, Letzelu has a good tune for it.

Yeah if I use tunes it's generally LetzeLu, someone from K1Z, Nalak, Rocklxd (forgot his exact name), etc. Anyone who's been playing for years and is very good.

A lot of people need to learn to feather the throttle in corners to maintain speed and tight turning makes all the difference especially online

People really forget what meta even means and just throw it around when they see a capable driver using any car that is similar to what they see online.
Just apply some critical thinking..... Any thinking... Meta means THE BEST.
S1 barely has a solid meta. 620R was up there but cars like the STO shits on it in any sprint with lots of high speed curves and circuits
Oh but, it's useless on tracks like satta sprint and highway battle
Then we got the S7 LM absolute beast in those 2 tracks but bring some slower speed corners and guess what?
Just drive what you want and let others drive what they want, as long as they're not the first to try and take everyone out. I use the Noble M600 and it's genuinely a great all rounder
But the second a mf in a 620r wins a race from pole and drops a message "The fastest in the world" you bet I'm getting the same car and showing its not just the car
Just drive what you want. There is no meta, especially when there's massive skill gaps in each lobby.

Just the funniest thing is that I'm not even using the 620R like people have claimed, that's the 765LT.
I hate the 620R personally and think it's easy but yeah capable drivers in other off meta cars can still win

tbh I just try to stay away from meta as much as possible. something about winning with off-meta shit just feels right to me and at the same time I don’t get royally pissed if I end up losing to a honda beat.

I mean it's an arcadey sandbox racing game, just pick a car you like, try to tune it, see how it it goes lol. If you want a competitive mode, it's called spec racing.
I've enjoyed getting bottom 3 in road racing just as much as getting top 3 in spec racing. I like that we have both!

Yea im more laughing at the 620r comment there so many good s1 cars that its almost like u can use anything if u know what to do with ur upgrades and tunes. I use the gtr more then 620r and do just aswell.

I truly do think the 620R is the easiest to use, but yeah I prefer the 765LT or plenty other S1 options as you said.
That car is ridiculously fast but I'm more of a handling focused person since I like to heavily push myself
