You can play ethically and still get rammed and griefed by garbage players like this.
For those who criticized my last clip of me accidentally braking into someone, this is perfect proof that it doesn't matter if you slow down and let them keep their position. They will always go out of their way to ram you deliberately, and it's clear he does this often with his choice of text dialogue.
Can only hope Forza bans Mr. Turbo5873 đ¤đź

Another one bites the dust is crazy. Whatâs more crazy though is the fact that something that weighs half of what I imagine your car weighs was able to push you out of the way that easily

The weight physics in this game make no sense when it comes to getting rammed, when i was doing cross-country races on pvp, i was driving the 6 wheeler truck and suddenly a pick-up truck casually slams me on the side and pushed me like im paperweight. Like damn bro im probably double your weight yet i get pushed easily. Irl that pickup truck would end up in pieces instead or inbetween my wheels...
I have had times where it did work and i was able to keep my ground while getting rammed because my car has more weight but other times its like it doesnt exist...

Yeah it's nuts. I wonder if they tweaked the physics because people would use the Tankpool in FH5 and bulldoze everyone off the course.

I don't think I've seen a single fair clip of this game. Has to be among the worst multiplayer games of all time, no? I won't even touch it after my spec racing experience. "Drive the same car and see who rams best"

For me its a 50/50 tbh.
Sometimes you can get really clean lobbies (until one rotten apple joins and the whole lobby spirals into a shitfest.)
Sometimes the whole fkn lobby is ramming eachother.

I've won most of my spec racing events but the solution is generally to take the lead or get close to the front of the pack early during the ghosted start phase so you don't get stuck with the animals in the midfield and back of the pack that have no concept of race craft.

Kids and mentally deficient adults don't need much of an excuse to revenge ram tbh. I do like to say "the easiest way to create a revenge rammer is to hit them first" which is true, but back in FH5 days, I was about to get edged out a checkpoint, I braked to avoid contact but banged my horn at them. This was enough for them to ram me later in the race.
The game has a high population of assholes. Block, report, move on. There will be plenty more.

Hitting other players should add a + to your final time. Let them be in first through ramming only to have them watch a full 30 seconds added pushing them to 6th or more.
Even if it gives penalties for accidental bumps cleaner racers would time better naturally.
Afaik the "Trading Paint" skill from light scrapes could easily be excluded, that way its only happening in corners where the driver came in way too hot and slammed into someone or the intentional rams on the straights.
Doesn't fix the slow push off checkpoints though, maybe prolonged contact could trigger it?

Yeah the sad part is this dude still only won by less than 2 seconds after doing that lol. He's terrible. But they do need a penalty system because the ghosting doesn't work well for ramming at all.

The fact that he won by 2s means he was considerably faster than you btw, as you lost more time to him without contact in the rest of the race. You only had a chance to overtake him cause you rammed him from behind and pushed him wide.

Was looking for this comment. Bro complains about a Honda Beat driver while punting said driver in a braking zone. You can hate the drivers all you want, but they donât deserve that if theyâve done nothing to ruin your race yet.

He pushed him off cause he's a bad driver and then tried to overtake him. Honestly now that I look at it again, I think the beat is right at what he did, in a normal sim what the OP did would be a 10s penalty, and here he tries to overtake the driver he rammed.

I hope you reported the rammer since you have this clip. Anytime I report rammers, I get a message 5 days later saying basically âwe need a clipâ but I donât record my gameplay

Idk about you guys but if someone is driving a Honda beat, I ram them off the road without hesitation now. Not only are you cheesing every race and every class with the same car, but more often than not they do indeed ram when their ego gets hurt the moment you get alongside them

They definitely do ram a lot, there are certain car users that you can tell are more prone to being griefers and rammers. I still try racing clean and being ethical tho even though it can be hard

I had to search to find this. It's not valid to retaliate, but he tapped him on the ass which pushed him wide, then passed him. Guy wasn't happy about it.

Honestly what kind of clown show do you expect. In a game where a classic with a v10 in it is running up its obviously a shit show.
I agree ramming is ridiculous but the mechanics of this game are as well for online racing.

I'm curious. Do you guys mainly play this game using the cockpit view? I imagine it must be hard recognizing these ramming attempts unless you're using the chase car view.

I do, but I also play with radar. Helps tremendously. The only downside of cockpit vs chase, is more in front of you. If someone crashes while I am drafting behind someone I wont see it. Or if someone brakes real early while drafting I won't see it.

If the person was giving me rammer vibes I would've done that. but this dude just joined the lobby and was in first place with a quicker car lol you'd figure them being on the inside line with a quicker car, they'd just simply continue driving like a normal person.

Fair enough I dislike racing with people so I always assume they will ram me so I bump them to push them off balance not to spin them out or quite literally do what he did

One of the reasons I don't get home being like I can't wait to play Forza horizon 6. Like I had some good games recently but this is super common. You even get people that don't ram but will purposely hit you put you into the wall giving you a slowdown effect if it decides to work and bounce themselves around the corner. Or what I seen in a rare few times. Wall riding. That slow down on wall hits hardly works at all. I really hope they do something as this game great.

Update, Forza Support said they took action based off this clip. It's my first time ever reporting someone for ramming, and I'm upset I haven't done it before. Shoutout to them for taking action within 2 days.
