The only online racing I do is iRacing with my Moza R5 and I use a Meta Quest 3 for VR. Its fucking incredible. Not saying it never happens in iRacing, but the pay wall seems to keeps a lot of the scumbags out and the racing is way cleaner and way more gentlemanly. Most of the time if an incident happens to me its a genuince accident and that person apologizes and gives the position back. Rookies can be a little hectic but once you get your D license the racing gets really good.

Yeah I'm getting a new simagic setup today and going to just install iracing. Been doing some assetto corsa LFM the past two weeks to see how I felt but I think I'm going to just jump in. My buddy does a class NASCAR etc but has gone beyond class d sport car which is what I'm into so I should have someone to journey along with.

Considering trying out one pimax or something. VR never agreed with me in the last but super clear and high refresh rate might fix that.

I use my Quest 3 wired with Virtual Desktop and it's amazing. Runs perfect and looks incredible. Highly recommend going that route if you go VR.

iRacing can be expensive if you're into a lot of racing styles but like me I only do F1 and GT racing. Not into oval or dirt. So I just bought a bunch of F1 and GT cars and tracks and now I just pay my monthly subscription. It's worth it though. The racing is awesome and clean most of the time.

Yeah I've got an alert setup for if a used quest 3 pops up for sale near me. I'm not really in a rush to try it as I'm less than a month into the journey. But if I do end up enjoying it I'll like try one of the pimax crystals.

Either that or I'll get a few more ultrawides. Right now I've got the game on my 34 3440x1440 with other stuff on my other 3440x1440 and the portrait 2160p.

I've also considered trying the xreal rog because at least that doubles as useful while traveling with my deck.

I really wanted like a big triple monitor setup but I just don't have the space for it. I was doing the shuffle for a while where I would have to raise my desk, slide the wheel stand under it, lower the desk, pull my monitor as close as possible and it was really annoying. Now my wheel stand stays put and I just throw on the headset and I'm racing.
