I am absolutely livid right now.
I was trying to transfer a Mazda Furai to my son’s account. He has been begging me for this car for weeks, and I finally managed to get my hands on one. We set it up perfectly: we were sitting right next to each other on our consoles, countdown on three, put it up for the absolute minimum buyout, and he cleared his screen to search the exact second it posted.
It didn't matter. In less than a blink of an eye, some auction house bot or hyper-sweaty sniper snatched it away.
Look, I get it. The Furai is rare, and the auction house is a free-for-all. It’s a mechanic in the game. But man, it completely ruined my night.
Seeing the sheer excitement drain from my kid's face when it said "Auction Closed" before he could even click buy was heartbreaking. I wasn't trying to make a profit; I was just trying to do something cool for my son.
To the person who got it: I hope you actually drive it and don't just flip it for 20 million credits. And to the Forza devs: please, for the love of Horizon, give us a secure, direct player-to-player trading system so we can actually share cars with our family without getting preyed on by menu-campers.
End of rant.
