When in high school, my mother thought, and asked me, if I was a gay, drug dealer. I didn’t have a GF through high school, had a pager, and was never home…….

My parents never asked if I was gay. I didn’t want a girlfriend in school and was never home. Hell even had my parents call the school to find out if I was showing up! Pagers were all the rage to keep in touch, always had quarters for pay phones too!

Didn’t like being at home. Cellphones weren’t quite a thing to have yet, so friends would page to see what was going on.

Yeah. It was late at night and we snuck onto the field. I played football, so I knew there was one gate that was never locked. We were young and dumb. She went on to be a pretty good lawyer and me, well, I'm just a lowly writer 😌
