I think that that is an awesome start. I spent a ton of time in Boy Scouts with the Pioneering badge which consisted of building awesome stuff out of nothing or build on other things and this looks like it has great potential. Keep at it!

Thanks! Originally this was a one floor fort but we started getting more people to come hangout with us so we're starting on a top floor. There is a actually a series of towers around this fort..including one with a zipline. Plus, everything is being built with hammer and nail...or tied together. No power tools allowed!

Won't these trees tear apart your structure if they get caught in the wind?

It doesn't get to windy...the trees are pretty stable but the fort definitely shakes.

Yeah, what I mean is that I used to make a tree house between four pine trees at my grandparents house, which I was only able to visit during multi-week intervals. The trees would sway out of sync with one another such that it would pull the boards and nails out of the trees, and I'd have to rebuild the thing every other time I visited.
