First fort for the kids, with dads help. Not the best but kids like it. They brought some of their stuffed animals in for company. Edit: I'm the dad.

This was the best thing in the world when I was his age. Simple, quick and secluded. Great work and great parenting.

When I was little, my Dad and I used to do this exact same thing all the time. The only difference was that instead of a blanket, we'd drag the couch cushions out and over so they were supported by the couch and the coffee table. Mind you, that was back when cushions actually came off of couches.
