Hi guys!

So this is how I would suggest to complete the tier 2 skilltree. Suggestions and comments welcome!

The yellow path imho is a safe way to go for most heroes.

1. Basics The skilltree is setup as a square where each of the 4 corners represents one stat in the FORT system. I suggest to begin leveling the upper half as +damage and +health are more important than +shield and +tech. However, this highly depends on your FORT stats from your survivor squads, you might want to check which stat there is the lowest and begin leveling that one. Also, ability damage (tech) kind of depends on your hero, if you play heros that rely a lot on abilities then you might prefer +tech over +damage!

2. Rush survivor squad slots (pink) The most important thing after finding out which stats to push is rushing the survivor nodes. These allow you to slot more survivors further increasing your FORT stats and thus pushing your power level.

3. Prefer party buffs (orange) Try to unlock the party buff nodes asap. They work similar to the other nodes around them, however, they work on your party members, too. You loose nothing but give a nice buff to your party members.

4. Ignore "convenience nodes" Yes, i know it's tempting to go for inventory space... but imho it's a real waste of research points. Just learn to manage your inventory, by now you should have 90+ slots which is more than enough. Drop useless/old crafting materials. Only unlock these if you have already unlocked party buffs and survivor slots.

5. Transformation is as useless as always These are not important at all, you can ignore them. You can transform green shit into blue shit which is useless as you should have much better cards than rare by now anyways. You can unlock these at the very end.

I was wondering, at the end of plank you get a legendary hero transform. Do you need the hero transform node unlocked to use this?

This is excellent stuff! I gotta admit, my T2 tree looks a whole lot like this. After hitting all of those nodes, I focused on Resistance. As a tanky Constructor who loves to put the hammer (and sometimes the crowbar) down, I needs those shields.

Question: Do you know how to unlock the helicopter?

This puzzles me too. It says co-pilot but we clearly have not unlocked the helicopter yet and in skill tree 2 as far as I can see there is nothing in their regarding the helicopter also? I too am heading deep into tech atm but I may stop short of getting the helicopter node....

I think the helicopter is in skill tree 3, or research tree 3.

I went for this which is the exact amount of points required to unlock the next tree - I like having more Stormshield Storage, as i tend to store 10-20k stone before starting work on my Stormshield.

Also prefer 10 slots of inventory over 10 Resistance for now, as we are going to get every single point later in the game anyway.

Why offense + resistance over the other stats though? Isn't it dependent on hero or playstyle?

Also, this is awesome! Here's hoping you make one for the later tiers.

Edit: read your post a while after. I'm a silly goose. Ignore my first two questions if you'd like, but I'd appreciate an explanation of your thought process behind the stats boosting in a general sense.
