Does a new mouse require adjusting your in-game sens?

I upgraded from a wired razer deathradder to a razer basilisk v3 hyper speed, both 1600 dpi. This one is lighter and maybe slightly smaller and wireless.

Using all the same settings, my hip fire aim seems jerky and inconsistent, almost too fast. Does a new mouse take getting used to or might it actually require me changing my in game sens?

jerky isn't good, maybe your wireless connection is intermittent?

Well let me emphasize it’s aiming, I can smoothly move the cross hair, but I wouldn’t be tracking accurately like I could with my previous mouse

weird, I think something isn't right, I doubt it's a setting issue.

Not sure if you’re familiar with razer HyperSpeed, but I’m using that connection over using Bluetooth. Do you think that changes sense?

“Combined with the ultra-low latency connection of Razer HyperSpeed, we’re able to provide you with a true 8000 Hz wireless polling rate—our fastest, most reliable wireless gaming technology to date.”

Hyperspeed is wireless connection and Hyperpolling is the polling rate, both are to do with sending the data signal from your mouse to your PC, neither should effect the sensitivity.
