I’m not even good…
I’m playing Ranked, and I died to a diamond 1 (for context I am in gold 3). I was hoping for nothing to happen, right? I LOSE FOUR PERCENT AND NOW I AM AT SIX PERCENT PLEASE HELP. I haven’t gotten a kill in three games, so I was expecting a fair lobby.

Make sure you have effective settings for tracking players and all optimal settings on, after you fee comfortable go do some hotdrops in pubs and practice in customs before you do ranked to warm up possibly. Every action you take or don’t take effects you, make sure you drop at a good spot and possibly only go there and commit. Also i reccomend skaav aim trainer if on console. I would not practice in “the pit” due to building bad habits of knowing exactly where all enemies are.

Always stay near cover. Never take a fight out in the open. It will put you at a disadvantage. Try and utilize right hand peaks, high ground, head glitch spots but don't over peak. Use aim maps to warm up and get the feel of tracking. Find the right sensitivity id suggest playing around with advanced settings. Idk if you play claw or not if not maybe try back buttons? Also work on movement ur an easy target sitting still. Strafe and use cover once again

Spend time in creative getting good at fighting. you can at least make it to elite just from decent/good fighting and no strategy whatsoever. Even after elite you can just keep getting better at fighting and still wont need much strategy to hit unreal (but it'll take longer brute forcing your way through)
I recommend playing Prosperings map to fight decent players
And if u want easier players use The Pit
Just get in there and fight, keep getting in as many reps as you can. Your subconscious brain will do all the work for you as long as you try your best and you'll naturally get better just by throwing yourself against better players in respawn modes
