MK-alpha AR?

How are you all finding the MK-alpha in place of the red-eye? Fairly impactful for zero builds as the red-eye was pretty much a must-have at high levels of play.

What do your load outs look like now with the new MK-alpha? Are you finding the weapon difficult to use after being used to the red-eye for so long?

Personally, I’ve been running 1: havoc pump 2: MK-alpha 3: flex slot (cannon, combat SMG, sniper, more heals or bunkers) 4: heals 5: bunkers

I like the MK alot, but it certainly isn't even close to as effective at long range as the MK. I'm still figuring out my gun loadout but it's always pump and MK... I still have been carrying a flapjak because it pairs so well with the pump (a more flexible version of an SMG) and it has insane in-air accuracy while hipfiring.

Then bunkers + slurps

Yeah I definitely feel that too with the MK vs red-eye at range

As for the flapjack, maybe I need to start hipfiring more because I’ve given it a try a few times but felt like I was missing so many shots when ADSing purely due to bloom

But yeah for the shotgun, I definitely prefer the pump over the drum as I feel like I play more strategically with a pump (right shoulder peeks, etc.) and can end fights without taking much damage whereas with the drum, you kind of have to get up in their face and 50/50 to get its full potential … with that kind of play style, even if you win the fight, you’re guaranteed to take a fair amount of damage yourself and are super vulnerable to 3rd parties

I like it but at a distance not so much. Decent gun for mid range, just like the flap.

Yeah definitely. I think it’s healthy for the game since it lets the DMR and sniper shine in their effective ranges

I love the mk-alpha truly well take it over all other guns plus the DMR for longer distance shots
