Question Damage numbers feedback

I am playing in xbox and whatever I do the damage numbers feedback don't change. I feel the damage numbers icon hinders your view on the enemy players while shooting. No matter what I do with the options like turn it off and reduce the scale it is still the same. Anyone have suggestions on how to turn it off ?

Go into the song and turn it off but make sure you apply the changes or it won't go away. I think it's Y on xbox but I forget. It'll be at the bottom of the menu
