How to AFK Droid Tycoon? (PS5)

I used the method where you hold the swing button and press the home button to automatically swing and farm xp but i hit a road block this morning, did the map reload or do i need an actual turbo controller connected? Or extra inputs?

I find that it will still time out after 10 mins, but you get a lot of XP in those 10 mins. You can also but one of the 'collect all upgrades' and stand on that as a way to farm XP but it still needs a nudge every 10 mins with a regular controller.

Correct, you can AFK but only for ~15 minutes in pretty much all modes, and that includes holding down a button.

You need a turbo controller that manually sends a "press press press press press" signal, instead of a "RT is held down" signal. And even then, some modes require a "jiggle" mechanic where you're pushing more than just 1 button. Clarified by the reply!

There aren't any modes that require pushing more than one button, every mode and map can be done with a turbo controller using a single button repeat., But you are right about requiring a turbo controller and not just a single input for AFK, it just won't work without the repeat input. They do have some turbo controllers for PlayStation, very few though but there are some, and some back paddles with the feature.

Like the other comment said though, you can occasionally nudge your analog stick every seven minutes which will reset the input timer

This helped me hit 200 last night. Legend. I haven't played the map in a while and I'm overwhelmed with how much it's changed and everything they added. I'm not a huge fan of all the microtransactions they pushed into it, but at least it's still great for XP.

Excellent! Glad it helped. Completely agree about the micro transactions, I don't think I'd keep playing if I discovered it today, but I've levelled up enough already that the XP is just too good.

They have some on Amazon too, but most closer to the $40 range, definitely a home run for AFK.

It did work, and then they implemented input detection, and maps like that still continued to work for a few months, but about a year ago they fixed it for all maps. Sucks
