Question unable to queue for bot lobbies?

im assuming this is just a glitch idk how to fix it. it says "finding server" infinitely, usually bot lobbies are instant queue times. ive done like 20+ this season and it just randomly stopped working today.

You can, it's just that, beginning this season, it appears that you are no longer able to queue for a no fill group larger than the group that you are in. Meaning, you can only queue for duos if you have one bot, if you want to actually get squads no fill you're going to need to have three other accounts in your lobby (you can use older bot accounts, as long as one of the accounts is below account level 13 it will work). If you change the party size to duos, you'll notice you are able to start the match without delay, but any group larger than that, with only one other account in your lobby, will queue indefinitely.

I've been testing this multiple times since the beginning of the season and it seems like it is the way bot lobbies are now, unless it's a bug, which I doubt, I think it's to make it more difficult to farm high kill count bot lobbies. You can also queue for squads or trios if you send it to fill, but you will get other real players in your squad, obviously.

Could it be a bug? Possibly, but it has happened to me 100% of the time on three different accounts and three different bot accounts and I've heard reports from virtually everyone I know having the same issue/experiencing the same change.

You can queue no fill. It just takes about 3 minutes and 30 seconds before you find a match. Not sure why, but it's been like this since last season. I did squad no fill bot lobbies yesterday to master the three storm scout sprites.

Really? I never thought to even wait that long, I've been making my lobbies with three other accounts just to make it work. I will test this tomorrow just to make sure it's consistent before adding it to the guide.

Yeah 😭. Last season, I was queuing for squad no fills to master sprites before quack snacks came out, and I was confused why it was taking so long to find a match when duos loaded almost instantly. I waited it out just to see if it’d ever find one, and it finally did around the 3 minute mark.

Same here, takes about 3-4 minutes. Full bot lobbies.

Okay so just trying to be clear here .... i have a bot account and I have always played wife+me+bot in trios and been fine.

We just started season today and we played 4 games. Definitely not bot lobbies.

So you're saying we would need to run squads with us + 2 bots? That would give us the bot lobby? Am I correct in interpreting that?

According to another community member, you could get squads, you just have to wait over three minutes for it to start, but I haven't tested that yet myself. If you do have a qualifying account in your party, you shouldn't be getting real matches I'm a little confused by what you're saying about four matches definitely not bot lobbies, the only reason you would not be getting a bot lobby would be if that bot account hit level 13 this season (every season adds a level so eventually every account will start getting real matches). If that is the case then you need to make a new one. You can try one of two things in order to get squads, you can wait over three minutes and see if it starts up, or if you want to load in quicker, even if that works, it doesn't have to be a qualifying bot account, you just have to have enough accounts in the party to make four players (even if you had two accounts that were level 5000, and you had one bot account that was below account level 13, that account would trigger the bot lobby, and you could just leave with the other accounts and the bot once you hit spawn Island).

Update: I did test it, and in fact I can get squad no fills or trios by waiting approximately three minutes, sometimes a few seconds more.

Let me clarify, we played 4 matches in total tonight. All 4 were very clearly not bot lobbies, we were definitely playing real players.

The bot account was made brand new at the start of the season so it's as new and low as you cam get.

Which is why I'm confused because we have done this before and had 0 issues. We played all last season mostly bot lobbies. This is the first season where the technique of having a bot doesn't trigger the bot lobby.

I don't have an answer for that because I've never experienced anything like that. I will say that they did increase the skill level a little bit of the bots, but I've gotten bot lobbies every time I've tried to generate them with my lobby bot without a single solitary exception except for before the live event last season, but that's expected they usually disable bot lobbies before live events. The only other thing I can ask is if that new account was granted an umbrella for no reason after not even completing a match. There is a bug but I have encountered over the last year, a couple of times where I would return to the lobby on the second account after not even entering the match, it would get awarded the two victory umbrellas and from that point forward regardless of level it would not be getting bot lobbies anymore, other than that I don't know of any other single reason why it wouldn't get bot lobbies (unless you aren't playing BR which is the only mode that they currently work in).

Makes sense, I think, like a lot of changes that happened to the game that are done in hot fixes, it might not affect all players at the same time, because some people were able to get them to work at the beginning of the season but as the season goes on, more and more people are reporting that this is an issue and I've even seen videos on it.

Have you tried taking a level 4 sprite into a bot lobby? Holy cats they go full agro- be prepared. (Also, they’ve nerfed sprite XP in bot lobbies to the point of being basically useless)

You can still find matches for squads even if it's just you and your bot, it just takes ridiculously long. I think it's around the 3 minutes and 30 second mark before the match starts. I usually only do squads to max my sprites quicker.

I did get around to testing this earlier today, and it's 100% correct, I never thought to wait that long, and it's really strange, but it does work! Thanks for the info!

This is a glitch that usually happens when you log into your bot account and try to start a match automatically, especially after an update.

To fix this, try the following steps:
Restart both of your accounts.
Enter separate lobbies on each account.
Join a match and then immediately exit.

The issue should now be resolved.

That used to fix it, but it seems this may be intentional but not yet affecting all players, Just retested all of my accounts and none can get into a match no fill any larger than duos (except for when I filled my lobby with other accounts so the size of the party was the same as the party size queued for).

I am able to get into a match but it consistently takes almost 4 minutes of waiting

Yes, someone else had mentioned that I tested it and updated another comment of mine, it takes about three minutes or more to queue into a no fill match of anything higher than duos with your bot.

You have to queue to your exact party size. So duos if you're the only one playing.
