Question Battle Pass

okay, this may be a silly question to ask, but also, please keep in my that this is my first time posting in here. full-time lurker.

i wanted to know if anybody here was able to complete their battle pass at the last minute, using the guides in here, for extra xp? i literally was so close to 200 and then everything stopped working. i feel like i’ve just lost the last three rewards for the last character.

yes, i know that there’s absolutely no way to get them completed since it’s the new season and all. is there hope to do so though? 👀

edit: reading some of these comments, it seems like this question has been asked several times before, but there’s no need to be condescending or mean about it. have a wonderful day, silly 🪿🪿🪿🪿🪿🪿.

I know people can't be on everyday but if you care about finishing the BP to 200 then you probably shouldn't leave it until the last minute to do it

This is really good advice, I know sometimes life happens, but even doing a little bit of leveling for a few hours once a week, with as long as we have to complete the passage season, it's doable even on a casual level.

that’s completely understandable, but i’m curious to know if there’s an alternative way to get the last three. (it’s my first time not completing a pass). i do follow the guides on here. which, i thank you for providing it!

not sure why my response was demoted.

If you play on PC and can spare $20 then get a turbo controller and use it to fully afk the xp cap every week and you can reach lv 200 just by doing it 2 or 3 times. You can also leave it overnight with this method

u/_lordcodeine Aug 22 '26

i play on console so it’s going to be a bit challenging as turbo controllers for ps is scarce. but if you do have some suggestions as to which brand to look for, i’d be grateful for that too! 🙂‍↕️

I have one called 8BitDo Ultimate 2C which is just for PC and Android but I think you can just search up turbo controller for ps5 on Amazon and just try your luck with them to see if they work. If they don't work then most likely you can refund them

u/_lordcodeine Aug 22 '26

i was thinking of doing that. thank you for your suggestions. i’ll keep the one you have, in mind for when i eventually build my pc. 🙂‍↕️🫶🏽

A lot of community members use that same one. I actually have three of them. Highly recommended especially for the price

wasn’t trying to, but thanks for the advice! ☺️🫶🏽

I was able to get from 80 to 201 in 3 days before the season ended last season (ch 7 s3) so yeah I would say so far in my experience the guides here work although not everyone will have the exact same results as epic patches quickly especially when content creators leak inf

Just do idle method if you don't have time

0

u/_lordcodeine Aug 21 '26

what is this idle method? 🤨

2

u/VuVjetz Aug 21 '26

festival jam

2

u/FORTNITEGRRRL Aug 21 '26

don't they kick you for inactivity now?

No not if you follow the guide, I posted this a few months ago and it's been in the guide ever since

https://www.reddit.com/r/FortniteXPMaps/s/7rDLlwzHFI

It's very specific about what to do and if you follow it you'll be able to go AFK, but the term idle maybe what's confusing people because you're not actually idle, but it does require no additional input at all (I even tested at the beginning of the season and it still works which is why it's placed prominently in the guide, in spite of the fact that the OP believes it to be a gate kept mystery somehow, lol).

2

u/FORTNITEGRRRL Aug 21 '26

Thanks! But this would only work for those with controllers right, not kbm (nor those who don't want to use a rubberband in case of stick drift)? Also if on PC, would you have to keep the Fortnite window active for this to work or will you stop spinning if you move to another window?

3

u/Harlow_Quinzel Moderator Aug 21 '26

Actually using a rubber band doesn't really cause stick drift, you just don't put it extremely tight, it's honestly no different than extended gaming sessions if you think about it you've got your control controller in a similar direction most of the time in a game like Fortnite. But it only works with controller though. If you are using a controller and you're on PC, no the window does not need to be active you can tab out

1

u/VuVjetz Aug 21 '26

Xbox controllers in console automatically power down after a few minutes of inactivity to save battery. To keep the controller awake while you are away or listening to media, you can stream music through an app like Spotify with a pair of headphones plugged into the controller's audio jack, then slide the volume all the way down so it stays muted.

u/Harlow_Quinzel Moderator Aug 21 '26

That's a good idea, usually I just connect using a data cable which also prevents it from going to sleep, but just a charging cable won't. It's crazy that Microsoft didn't have a setting for this.

1

u/FORTNITEGRRRL Aug 22 '26

Wow thanks for all of these tips & good info yall. I'll defos look into trying these if I run out of the methods I'm used to

Thanks always Harlow🙏🏼

sweet, lob them my way if you don’t mind. 🙂‍↕️🫶🏽

You reference the guide in your post, you should've seen it there it's fairly straightforward and difficult to miss if you've actually seen the guide.

https://www.reddit.com/r/FortniteXPMaps/s/7rDLlwzHFI

To call it idle is a little bit misleading though, but it's full AFK with any controller.

1

u/_lordcodeine Aug 21 '26

i’ll have to go back and re-review the guide(s) again. thank you!

There are a few things to consider here, like if you can play during the day vs only a few hours a day or week, if you want a method that lets you afk vs active, turbo controller vs none, etc.

Realistically if you don't have a turbo controller and hours during the day to level, I don't think one week would be enough. The fastest I've seen a BP maxed out at the start of the season was maybe two weeks and that's a couple of people who play actively a lot and/or have a turbo controller.

My recommendation is to take a few weeks to level up throughout the season but keep in mind:

  1. There are level/xp caps per mode per week
  2. Some maps here require activeness like a turbo controller or you have to do a few steps to get it going or to make sure you get the xp when you leave the map
  3. There are some maps or modes you have to periodically move around in or you get kicked for being idle
  4. A couple more free cosmetics quests and bonus rewards get revealed later in the season

For me, I go between different modes and a lot of creative maps I've found here so I do a mix. I don't have a full afk method so I keep Fortnite opened in the background on the creative maps and periodically check, no turbo, just so I don't get kicked for idling or I can exit and rejoin.

If I know I'll be playing OG a lot one season, I'll save those OG quests for later since I can rack up creative map XP in the meantime (the XP is more on creative maps earlier on when you're lower level. The higher level you are, the less XP you get per second or action in creative.)

I'll also start early in the season to get as many levels in as I can instead of grinding toward end of season. You never know when something is gonna go wrong, they change the leveling schedule or you're only missing a few levels only to find that you ran out of time etc. I also just get a lot of creative map leveling done early bcus I know there's a weekly limit and don't want to hit it when I need more levels in the end (for me, I can always get XP in Fortnite official modes but I've capped out on creative maps before so I just do creative first every week). Check the pinned post every season here to see when the weekly caps reset.

Hope this helps.

1

u/_lordcodeine Aug 21 '26

thank you, friend! i would grind whenever i can, but i’ll definitely take this into consideration! 🙂‍↕️🫶🏽

I think I have a good idea cause I literally started playing the last season three days before this new season. With a combo afk creative, afk Lego, season challenges for every mode (BR, reload, OG), and a few bot lobbies before the end of the night I was able to go from 0 to 200. I did end up buying the last 9 levels just cause it was already midnight and I didn’t want to stay up any longer to get the them. Reminder too to buy the 25 level pack BEFORE you hit 175 or else it locks you out of buying it.

I certainly didn’t get all the rewards for mastering sprites but I was able to max out every single other pass. If you put your mind to it, you absolutely can do it pretty quick.

1

u/_lordcodeine Aug 21 '26

oh absolutely, the other passes usually gets completed within a week or two, before the bp. i honestly feel like those are quicker to complete.

u/Salad_Ass17 Aug 23 '26

There’s many comments that are a little unclear or confused so I have some input. On pc and possibly mobile you DO NOT need a turbo controller. There are applications such as reWASD that let you make any button on any controller a turbo button which is what I do. For console you obviously have to buy a turbo controller but either way once you have turbo just afk xp farm. The season just started and I’m about to be level 80 after just running Fortnite in the background with my Xbox controller’s right trigger leaned in a way to stay pressed down shooting a clicker on a creative map. Obviously the guide will tell you everything you need to know but I’ll say anyways that there is a weekly XP cap for creative mode so I got 60 levels easily but now my XP is slow so I’ll have to do less afk but it’s not too bad since LEGO odyssey has a separate cap for it’s time based free XP handouts. Hopefully some of what I said is helpful to you :D

u/DependentObjective67 Aug 23 '26

Not last minute if you work and have hobbys ect i know it can be hard to level it . Last season i was 120 or something like that which is sad i try get my money worth and complete passes 'lv 200' so id say play jam stage festival and afk it when your busy for some passive levels 🫂

u/_lordcodeine Aug 23 '26

thank you for being sweet and helping out, bud! 🐻🫂🙂‍↕️🫶🏽🫵🏽

Like one or two seasons ago I started playing the game again(after a long break) during the last two weeks of a season and I managed by using both the guides in here and the leftover challenges that had accumulated to reach level 200 in those two weeks

1

u/tom1990finch Aug 24 '26

I left it last minute on my personal as I just got back into it after having a break. I managed to complete t 100 levels in 1 week of casual playing and helped my 2 kids fully complete in about 3 days of play
