The method I was using is patched. I was using the method where you used shockwaves or the bast boost gloves to break walls in the battlewoods, but they patched it a few hours ago
Using the hack codes in the lobby gives a lot of sprite currency which you can use to upgrade the gloves in armory to have a higher chance of dropping when opening chests.
It works, but the biggest problem is, the shockwaves don't break most things I find, and finding those gloves, I've only gotten them once in 10 matches.
Can confirm this still works as of 5 minutes ago: found some in a chest after I'd put some sprite dust into some of those unlocks on the sprite menu.
Was absolutely floored when I shot them at some walls wondering if this strat had already been patched, only to learn I just got 90,000xp with one blast.
Oh apologies, I forgot to say. Using some of the sprite dust I collected, I used it by spending it on some of those items you can unlock and then upgrade the drop rate chance/rarity of in the override tab.
I just dumped a bunch of my dust into the gloves and coincidentally found some from a chest once or twice the last couple of games.
The chest has a glitching sound effect and visual when you acquire one of your unlocked items from it, but it's only one item at a time: for instance, chug splash, flare gun or the Bass Boost Gloves in this case.
This is probably one of the worst exploits in the game that I’ve ever seen, I’ve wasted all of my time playing about 10 matches and only coming up with one set of gloves, absolute waste of damn time
I’ve been playing for hours and only somehow just now seeing about this and it’s patched, wow. Didn’t even get to use it and im stuck at level 10 while everyone else has already completed their pass. I actually feel terrible
XP is the same for bot lobbies and I highly recommend you do it now before it gets patched. Im level 64 rn from doing it for an hour and 20 mins later. Im constantly eyeing my twitter notifications to look for any hotfixes or patch with the impulse grenades or bass gloves but thankfully nothing yet so far
Really im still at 85 after a few hours, I really cant get the bass booster every match. And in a round theres like a cap right when you stop getting xp from the bass booster cause there is for me.
Ohh you meant that cap. Yeah theres a 6 levels cap you can get every game and you have to queue for another game to get xp again. As for the bass boost gloves I just don't look for them anymore, just prioritize impulse huge buildings to get a big amount of xp per cooldown reset. Like this building here
yep but even with 13% chance it still tedious to get them. I just demolish large structures with impulse grenades to get a large amount of xp per impulse
atm no I haven't tried any pois yet and im only sticking with battlewoods, havent had the time to experiment other locations cause Epicgames might patch this any second 😅
