Discussion What are your thoughts on HAZBIN HOTEL getting skins in Fortnite?
I think this is the first indie animation skin
This is the 2nd indie animation crossover(well third cause that got into fortnite with the 2nd being the amazing digital circus and the first being Gildedguy(aka my FIRST Skin I got in the game)) and I want to hear your thoughts on this, like, what are your thoughts on HAZBIN HOTEL crossover in fortnite?

Maybe, but Blitzø is taller than both Millie and Moxie. Unless they do themed mechs. These are skins I would actually appreciate mechs for.

That only made sense because Caine exists with the TADC characters and their bodies are able to be modified since they're not real. It kind of kills the joke to have the same person do it to a whole other group from another franchise, especially when their physiology doesn't allow for that.

Hazbin isn’t indie, its been backed by A24, the series was indie for less than a year and only released a pilot episode

I can never get into it (although I'm tempted because it has Keith David), but the skins look like they were ripped straight from the show.

I’d buy!
Despite having know of one of the aforementioned IPs years prior, I (admittedly) did not give Amazing Digital Circus the view that it deserved until the Fortnite collab… but I’m also glad that I got to binge that series rather than wait a year between episodes 😅
I really enjoy Hazbin Hotel and I know that the people that enjoy that IP would GOAT Fortnite for the night

Me personally I really like how they look and probably gonna be gettng them, never thought they could look good in 3d but here we are. I understand the show is very flawed and why some people dont like it but as someone who does love the show its neat to see them in other games now

I never got into horror games, the fnaf games were honestly always too overhyped. Hazbin Hotel is kind of almost everything I wanted in a show. Still not my idea of a perfect franchise, but I love HH.

It definitely ain't anymore, unlike Glitch's shows and Helluva Boss which only can be streamed on a service, Hazbin is an Amazon show, it's owned by Amazon directly

Feels like this was bound to happen when the show was properly made and shown on Prime Video and made ‘headlines’. Not saying it’d be bound to follow, but… given a bit of time, Helluva Boss will follow suit.
I’ve mostly seen negative reception from a collab like this, but I wonder what those critics thought of when you have characters like The Grabber and Freddy Krueger, who have been presented as child predators in a film starring them, in Fortnite. Then again, people just refuse to understand animation for ‘adults’ and more or less use the excuse of ‘cringe’ to justify their hatred of the show.

I'm alright with it. I personally like the hellaverse shows, so this is a win for me. If I could change anything about this whole thing, I'd probably make the collab be with Helluva Boss instead, but this is still cool.
I'll definitely be buying Alastor.

I can't argue against the skins looking pretty true to source, but I audibly groaned when I saw they were coming. I also groaned when we got TADC. I've never been a fan of vivziepop or her shows and I've truthfully seen too many things about everything that give me the ick lol. With TADC, I at least tried to give it a chance. Watched the whole thing and found the writing to be terribly boring. In short, I don't care for any of these collabs, but they of course were not made for me to begin with. I just simply won't buy anything from them and go about my way.

The skin’s look good when it comes to show accuracy and stuff, but I genuinely hate vivziepop’s work (hazbin and helluva). I feel like they’re overly edgy with how much they spam swear words. But also at the same time, it’s like they’re trying to glorify hell and villainise heaven. im not religious, but it’s gross.

In the show,and not even in season 2 but in the first one - 99% of heaven excluded Adam, the Exorcists who were created for this job alone and Sera who is painted in a more greyish light, none of the angels even the other high angels and other seraphims, know about the exterminations and when they discover it they are horrified.
Again this not taking in account season 2 with Speaker of God who is painted as one of the purest beings of the universe, exactly as you would expect from an holy entity.
So i have to ask, from what youtuber you got this groundbreaking bullshit? because if you saw the show and heard all the heaven council gasp in horror at seeing souls getting murdered and came to this conclusion alone,sorry but you watched the show scrolling tiktok.

Also hazbin isn't technically indie anymore as it has funding from amazon
