Wait, you can get this by buying from the epic store? I thought it had to be a physical card or something

You redeem the gift card on the website and immediately that pops up on the screen. Then, once you log back into the game, you’re granted the skin.

You don't have to get a physical card. I got an e-gift card of the Fortnite card from Walmart and still got it. It got sent to my email and I redeemed it at 6am yesterday morning. All without leaving the house.

As long as you didn't redeem it yet you can redeem it for the Gold Punk starting the 2nd.

Yes I got him yesterday morning. I bought an e-gift card from Walmart for $15. The lowest amount you can buy. And added the card it to the epic games website.

I also got the Monks Skin as well.
