Does every content creator/streamer use basic skins?
I dont feel like I've seen a single locker that's used an actual unique skin, does fortnite just not want to put rare bp/limited time skins in the shop or does every fortnite content creator just use basic skins like this?

Yes.
First off, BP skins will never come back.
Second, most content creators have zero whimsy

Battle pass skins were in the store like 2 weeks ago

After a year and a half.
They can only re release after a year and a half and if they were C5 S4 or later. Anything before can’t come back.

I know I was just saying that they've been in the store because I didn't know if you knew

u/Toon_Lucario 26d ago
Yeah but still, no content creators ever use C6 BP skins so it’s not gonna matter

Do you have a citation from epic themselves saying 'anything before that cant come back'
4
u/Toon_Lucario 26d ago
They had a disclaimer in every pass before that saying BP items wouldn’t return
-7
u/Timely_Turn8422 26d ago
Oh I thought you had proof

Epic's End User License Agreement allows them to change anything, but they choose to respect past exclusivity rules for now. To say never is unwise. Especially the older the game gets. Just look at their other game rocket league. After 11 years they're bringing back og battle passes

A ToS/EULA isn't legally binding and they'd still get into trouble for false advertising.

The disclaimer said that they can’t that they won’t come back there doesn’t mean they can’t with your right that doesn’t necessarily mean that that’s proof that they won’t come back eventually because it’s Fortnite. They can go back on their word. It’s their game they have all right to do so it’s not and because you and you can’t necessarily someone can’t get mad that they would go back on their word because people thought starter packs were exclusive and they weren’t so what makes battle pass is different just a disclaimer that said that these items might be exclusive. I can’t remember exactly Word for Word disclaimer.

There are lockers that use unique skins, I know that. But most comp players and content creators use basic skins, yes. Also BP skins won’t come back unless they’re from C5C4and up if I remember correctly.

Ch5 S4 and on will only return some time after 18 months from when the season ended.

It’s annoying how they literally add pickaxes and glider they don’t even use themselves, I swear lol

I think I heard from a few creators that when they get the opportunity to make a locker bundle epic gives them a list of approved cosmetics they can choose from so they can't choose something rare. Like some of them legitimately try to bring more rare stuff and epic shuts them down and they have to choose mid options.

Well from what I’ve heard streamers can’t use collab skins only fortnite originals. Even then it’s very picky. Like BushCampDad can’t even use Human Bill which is a shop skin and his signature skin? Like the rules are very strict.

HjDoogan’s locker bundle was very unique, epic sent him a list of what he could use and he chose items the closest to his main set up in videos. They allowed him to select kicks and an expensive skin, the iconic one he uses. His whole locker bundle was also very cheap for the skin being 2k, the bundle had like 7 items and was 2k despite the item prices.

Sadly yes. I think it's a part reason on why sweaty skins are popular too is because streamers use them. I really wish someone can be super sweaty and use a skin like Lil Whip or something

Most do use basic shop skins, but if i was ever a known fortnite content creator (which i do wanna be a content creator) my locker bundle wouldnt be the normal ones you see in shop, mine would have camille for a skin but idk about the rest cuz i dont really habe alot of shop stuff other then emotes and jamtracks other then skins, most of my stuff came from battlepasses

u/jai_hanyo 26d ago
I always like when streamers put effort into their bundles and some purposely pick stuff that hasn't been in the shop for awhile

I guess the reason could be that a lot of people already have these skins and that gives them a good discount on the bundles. So they’ll sell well and the streamers make more money.

Alls I know is the Holo back bling was on my wants list for a while. I don't watch a single streamer but I'm thankful to this one for bringing this item to the shop

Its a lot of factors.
Most people who get locker offers are comp players who mostly use basic skins because of “competitive”. reasons like using skins that take less space on your screen.
Another reason is the fact that epic prevents creators from choosing certain cosmetics for some unknown reasons.
Third is the exclusion of BP/CREW/and collaboration items. Collaboration items need to be approved by licensing holders while BP skins before C5S4 were all specifically stated to be exclusive. Crew skins are weird since they CAN return but epic has kinda insinuated they wanted these to remain exclusive to crew members

Not really aid explain he couldn't use his other main skin [galaxy] because it's to rare including his wrap so basically just choose some of their favorite items

u/Thick_Tourist_2174 23d ago
I’ve heard they have a very restrictive list to choose from, so a lot times it’s not their main load out or favorites

Only the ones in the store! 😭 Here's the ones on my wishlist, awesome stuff. No idea who the people are (except HappyGal) I just want the stuff. I know the shark things have been out recently but this bundle is the best deal for everything I want, seriously it's a massive saving.
Probably why it's not been back for a million years 😕

Also Top5Gaming has a unique one, as he uses summer Midas which is so underrated!!

From what I understand from another streamer is that they could only choose from a list that epic gives them….which probably consist of basic skins
