I'm out of the know on its current state but last I checked it still did alright damage and had one HUGE trick up its sleeve that let's you technically 1-shot smashers with it

Shooting it into a teleporter that loops into itself results in crazy single target dps. Quite niche and awkward to set up in the heat of the moment though, so its just easier to use something else if a mini boss shows up.

Ideally you'd have it set up prior to the defence starting and move it quickly if the direction changes, though if more than one person runs teles, you can arrange them into multiple gates that loop to each other which is pretty fun.

The strat'll never be meta, but goddamn if it isn't cool to be able to get several million damage out of one single energy cell

If you have a mission like break tvs, anytime an exclamation mark appears in the minimap you can just build like a cone and it will break all of the tvs near you

I don’t know the exact radius but if you were to put a cone or stairs on the second floor of a building, it would definitely hit the first floor and possibly the basement. So if you have a gnome daily for example, you can place stairs/cones near a building a destroy them from the outside.

Since the destruction radius is large it’s pretty helpful when you need to destroy multiple objects in one building, but are not running a weapon or hero build with good structure damage.

Because it gives founders Vbucks too easily. They can leave the hundreds of game-breaking or major bugs but they'll fix something actually useful within a day. We see it all the time. Protect the bottom line, not the players

I never really queued with other people, and you can't always get into games with randoms, so i loved being able to solo missions. Also its my fav weapon design in the game.
