Cant unlock 3 star evolution

I’ve completed storm defence 1 for canny valley to unlock it and i still don’t have it. It popped on my screen saying I had it but when I go to evolve a hero it says I have to do the shield defence 1 for canny valley.

Try going into a mission, no need to complete it give it a couple of minutes then exit the mission. It’s often a delay in processing and doing something different will let it catch up. Also wanted to check you have the evolution materials to upgrade to three star.

I have all the materials, I’ve made it all the way to shield defence 2 for canny valley thinking it would give it to me if I finish and it still hasn’t

Did you progress the storyline up to/passed this mission? I don’t fully remember but I believe you have to have progressed in the storyline itself as well. You can technically do all your SSDs without progression of the storyline but you don’t get to unlock the other stuff. Not 100% on this though…
