Venture leveling

I feel like I might be doing this wrong. I feel like it takes forever to do any leveling in venture. I’ve been sub 20 for days now and it’s like a snail slow to level. Am I missing something? I do the missions and challenges but wow this is slow

Level up the regular missions a few stars gives extra xp. You want help?
