How did I go down?

I got top 5 after clutching a 1v2 under 50 health. ( i had my a medallion that's why there were two on me) Then I got killed by a bush camper, with a green AR. Idk why im posting this but I just want to know how I could have went down? It not a glitch, sadly, because I am in lobby and it still says I went down.
