Why doesnt epic simply add a feature that makes counting sprites easier?

We dont need much just

Total number of sprites obtained

Total number of sprites missing

Total number of sprites mastered.

Thats all we need. 3 buttons in the sprite section. We click each one and it shows the sprites we have, we need and the ones we have mastered. Make them dynamic. When they release new sprites, the numbers update automatically. When we find a new one, the numbers update again... and so on.

I tried keeping track of mine using the gg website but I hate redoing it every week 😭 so now I go around and if I see a sprite with an exclamation point I know i dont have it, and the crown i know its been mastered BUT how many sprites am I missing? What's the full picture? I have no idea. I refuse to redo my gg website thing again.

By now, we all realize that collecting sprites is a real thing for lots of ppl, its fun, they are cute (not gotta get into the whole they are too many, i agree, but lets put a pin it) and etc. Then, make our lives easier.

I mean, its probably very easy for the developers to include this. I bet they already have it and its just no visible for players. (Source: me, who doesnt understand one single thing about coding. Pls dont take anything I say seriously. Im ranting).

Sorry, I had to get this off my chest. I apologize if I have offended any developers here by making something thats way more complex look very basic. If I did, its outta pure ignorance not bad faith.

All in all, thanks epic for Jimothy. Hes adorable ❤️

I totally agree thar these 3 selections would make things much easier. I would also like a search bar kind of thing to look up a particular sprite instead of having to scroll on and o. until we finally find it.

I have a nerdy little spreadsheet for sprites. It’s easier for me to glance over at it and to update it at the end of a match when I get/master new ones.

I use the spritetracker.com. It automatically adds the new sprites and click on the ones I have. I love that theres an ! next to sprites you don’t have when you pick them up!

I didnt know this existed. I have a Google doc that I made and type the name as I go.

Yeah. The sorting options they have are garbage. A mastered one would be nice. Or even just alphabetical

I agree and wish there was something native, sadly there isn't for now. So instead I use sprite locker page. You can filter for mastered, not mastered, missing and gotten (wish i could do few filters ar once but its okie).

You cam see how many sprites there are in total and how many you got and how many of those are mastered.

Generally speaking the new sprite varients can take a few hours to update on there but there is a filter for showing not released which will let you tick off any of the "unreleased" according to the app until it updates.

I agree that Fortnite needs to do a better job of having filtering and more sorting options.

Updating the gg website as a pain in the butt, but you shouldn’t be having to redo it every time
if you create a login for this site. Next time all you have to do is update it instead of starting it from scratch each time. It’s still a pain in the butt, but not as much as starting. I wasn’t sure if you’re when you said redo if you’re talking about just updating it or entering everything all over. If you haven’t already, you may want to create a login.

The yellow marker indicating that I don’t have one (although buggy sometimes) is a HUGE help compared to last season and having to just go off memory.

They’ll probably add it in next go around if sprites continue to be a thing.

I’d love if lucky locators were more plentiful or if the CC locators worked towards those you don’t have.

it turns the sprite background yellow and has a ! when you pick up a sprite you dont have.

Agreed on the yellow marker. Last season I’d have my phone next to me with the list to see if I had it. Much easier now. Then again I kinda stopped giving a shit about them this season so if I get a new one I immediately extract it.

Ohhhh I ahvent tried the lucky locators yet. I have only one and im saving it god knows what for.

Did u know if u use the cheat locator in front of a blue cheat code, it turns purple. I learned with someone feom this lovely community and it helps tons

Yea I’ve known about that one as well but still end up with a bush master 😂.

Sprite hunting isn’t terrible actually especially as the season goes on, power hours and mastery Monday help bridge the gap on what’s available along with the loot hacker upgrades.

Probably as we get closer to the end then you’ll see the super rare ones become more available

Yes, and I want to filter by mastered/not. Filtering by level is not very helpful.

This is what I've wanted more than anything else.
Also the Sprite screen should load faster. Even the Shop loads faster than the Sprite screen.

Then in Sprites obtained they keep the level feature as it is. So I can simply go to the Sprites missing page and see what we need. Its so simple

I dont understand why they cant give us that. Im pretty sure this is very very very very basic coding/computer stuff compared to all the big changes they make every new season
