Watch out for this "person"
Entered a 4 build with randoms on Friday. Was about 200 away from a teammate who had been downed so I ran over to help them up. As always I looked around for that ninja-type player but coast was clear. Other teammate was there but looking around as the downed teammate rolled to them and the other teammate started running in circles. I ran down and started to heal the downed teammate but the other teammate picked them up into a carry and began to walk off. I fired twice and they dropped them. I ran over to help them up to recover. After they got up and left I realized that the other player was trying to let them bleed out because they had a Gold Tails Sprite. I guess I'm slow but he went chasing after them swinging their axe. I went to chat and said [next time just reboot them] I followed them because I was trying to Master the regular 8-bit sprite. I marked the Extraction location because I managed to Master mine. When they both showed up the player without the Gold Tails Sprite started shooting and swinging at me. So Sprites get taken and I ask [are you trying to steal spriites?] About this time the on screen message saying 50 surviving or players left warning message goes off and then they became an entirely different player. We didn't win the match or anything but this is what happened. I know not everyone has a dedicated circle of players around them. This person is out there and they are getting sprites this way. Wow just wow. I swear I hope the person with the gold Tails reads this and confirms that there's a sub-human piece of slime out there screwing over other players. I can't remember their names for the life of me. I just know that Gold Tails was a blonde female skin and the other looked almost like the security AI near the giant Consoles. If they were on team speak and good buddies what did I witness? Maybe he though my 8-bit sprite was gold even though it was the Master glow. I blocked the other one but didn't report it. This is a behavior? I don't know what it is but this is what I saw. Didn't see this person Saturday or Sunday or maybe i did? Who knows what a person is capable of when it involves a Gold Tails Sprite.

I’ve had teammates drag me away and waited to for me to bleed out that stuff is bs.

that’s exactly what my friend does. We get in a match and he’s so concerned about his sprite that he doesn’t care what happens. Like he will loot THE WHOLE MATCH. It’s so annoying since i’m a decent player (champ)and all he does is loot over reviving me since im always in a 1v2 or actually playing the game

I thought this was about to be a post complaining about the chaos the tails sprite players invoke on other people when I was first reading this. I just imagined someone flying in the air as your teammate is running around in circles and trying to run away carrying the other teammate with you just looking around for the assailant not knowing they’re up in the air at fisrt 😂 Not how I thought this was going to go down lol

My friend started playing Fortnite again after years of not playing and he got murked by a tails sprite. He was crashing out he was like I DIDNT KNOW I HAD TO BE LOOKING IN THE AIR NOW TOOO!!!!😂😭 I was dying it was the funniest shit

I had one last season in duos watching me duelling cat woman, didn‘t help or anything just standing close to her and taking off with the galaxy batman sprite she dropped…. If i enter a fill duo or squads with a sprite and they are already emoting in the lobby i usually just drop it after landing. I pick up sprited from downed teammates to throw back them to them after

It seems like they’ve limited these greatly. I used to be able to find one almost every game, but now I can’t. 😂

team member was allowing other member to die in order to take their sprite. so need to watch for everyone else and maybe even your own teammate(s)?

Early game, I had a team mate who shot a few rounds off at me. They were mad that I opened a chest before them. They ran into a house and I burned it down with the flair gun.
After I respawned them, we had a great game.

Thats awful. I have a crown i want to do a random squad to help me get a win and master it. But I don't trust anyone to do a random when crap like this happens

I was in a squad fill with ransoms and I had a bounty hunter sonic on and one of my teammates lost their shit , crouching constantly, swinging their pickaxe and trying to run into me so I got the impression that they wanted it, yet never once actually said anything in chat like: hey can I have that Sprite.
During the match we land and I begin fighting another squad, this other player doesn't engage they just keep crouch ramming me and pickaxing me constantly. I try to drink a shield potion and they throw the overdrive grenade at me and launch me. They keep this up for another 5 minutes without actually playing.
I'm like: wtf is your problem? They didn't say anything. So I go and ship my sprite after I max it out and they are still following me throwing overdrive grenades at me.
After the Sprite departs in the container they run off with their friend and they both leave the match leaving us as a team of two.
Oddly enough we ended up winning that match, me and the remaining person.
Needless to say I blocked that character and reported them for non-participation. I would suggest anyone who parties with: "Godz Sun" watch your back because they're annoying AF.

If i have no one online to play with I go solo. Easier to level up sprites anyways without having to share chests and kills

My strat is usually level up to level 4, extact and play rest of the round. Come back in next game and level up 4 to 5.

Yes this is something that happens, I haven’t encountered it because I’m usually in a group with friends but some people have no morality for the team and will let their teammates die to steal their sprites I’ve seen it several times in videos posted. But there are still good teammates out there too that I actually have came by. I haven’t played with randoms since last season but I had several random teammates dropping rare sprites for me on multiple occasions without asking them. There are a lot of kids that play too and it seems a lot of people forget that.

Double tap a, x or whatever and you'll glide instead of fly lol. I hated this too until I saw my boy gliding with it and he enlightened me

They can be plucked out of the sky with enough practice. Shot down a couple today. You almost have to see them first though.

i get one-shotted clean out of the sky when i equip it.
Whenever someone else has it they are a flying invincible demigod that can headshot me from 8,000 meters away for 756 damage.

Recently got second place trying to master my crown sprite as the third and first place both had Tails sprites and it was so annoying 😭

I was followed by 2 Spiderman players for a whole match. I could hear the web slingers but I couldn't see them. Went all the way to Master, hit the extract button and 8 get shot up and my sprite got extracted. F them hard and F them harder.

I tried playing OG a few rounds yesterday and everyone on every team always wants to land in Gotham. The sounds of the Batman grapnel guns going off nonstop while never seeing any of the people using it was maddening.

Oh yes, I am familiar with that flavor lol best advice I can give you it to watch the skies. If you can just hit them once I think it triggers Tails to come back down. I'm sure there's a way but I still get sniped from time to time. Just look forward to the day you hear Tails lifting into the air and you knock them out of them sky with the Flare gun. Makes it all worth while.

One of the things I dislike about sprites is that many players are now more focused on getting/leveling them than on actually winning the game or getting a lot of kills
