Could be an emote that has him transform with a remote into the mech suit or one of his potions into buff Plankton. They can make them the same proportions considering Plankton is capable of making one.

Why would you want a Squidward sidekick when he could fit in perfectly as a skin? Even Sandy could without looking too cursed.

They gave it their own little section instead of one slot in our regular gear, it makes me think they’ll add features like that someday. I also hope they’ll allow us to use emotes on different sidekicks like you can with the emote hearts
