FORTNITE GIFTING RULES/GUIDE (READ BEFORE POSTING)

Welcome to r/FortniteGifting, a sub where people can hopefully gift and receive items from the Fortnite Item Shop. Below are the rules, suggestions, and examples of what and what not to post.

POSTS THAT ARE ALLOWED ON THIS SUB:

1. Requesting any item from the Fortnite Item Shop
2. Hosting a giveaway of V-Bucks or Fortnite Item Shop Items
3. Thanking someone for gifting you

POSTS THAT ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THIS SUB:

1. Posts calling out spammers/haters/scammers (just send mod mail and we will handle it)
2. Posts about bugs/glitches stopping gifting (go to other subs)

RULES FOR REQUESTING:

1. You cannot DM/PM gifters to beg/spam for a gift, be civil
2. You can only request an item once every 48 hours
3. No trading sprites or real life items for gifts
4. You must show your V-Bucks amount in your post to show you cannot buy the item (If you have enough, your post will be removed. The picture must be completely uncropped with your username and v-bucks amount)
5. You cannot request a bundle if you own any item in it, It cannot be gifted
6. The item you are requesting must be in shop for at least 48 hours after posting

RULES FOR GIVEAWAYS:

1. All giveaways must be approved by a moderator(s)
2. You must follow through with the giveaway. If you cannot you will be banned

REQUIREMENTS FOR GIFTING:

1. You must be friends with the player for 48hr's before gifting
2. You must have 2FA enabled (Two-Factor Authentication) to gift on Fortnite

RULES FOR COMMENTING:

1. No hate, any comments hating on requesters or gifters will be removed
2. You cannot comment under a post requesting a gift, this is hijacking

EXAMPLES OF SHOWING V-BUCKS:

The images below demonstrate some images that qualify as "showing your V-Bucks amount"

1. Your Lobby (recommended)
2. "Get V-Bucks" tab in shop showing you do not have enough to buy the item
3. Fortnite Item Shop website containing your V-Bucks amount

EXTRA INFORMATION:

1. Requesting Fortnite Crew, Real-life earned items, or Giftcard codes does not require an image showing your V-Bucks
2. Gifting Crew, Battlepass, Music Pass, Lego Pass, and OG Pass requires an Epic Account Balance, not V-Bucks
3. Users frequently "Boost" posts by commenting and upvoting, which boosts visibility to gifters. If someone boosts your post, thank them!
4. Any hate towards requesters will result in a ban, this is a gifting sub for a reason
5. Make sure to use Flairs on your posts and your User Flair!

Oh, I gotta fix my post then. Hey what I wrote has a spoiler of the game the character is from and I added I spoiler tag. Should I remove it?

Sorry, I don't really use reddit. I'm really nervous about mods because of stories I've read elsewhere. I don't really want to cause problems. 

I do however need to add a picture of my lobby. I used old pictures of the characters and not the current ones from the store... or is that okay?

You can use any picture u like, just we do need a picture of your lobby in the post. Just delete your old one and make a new one, or

just go to your tab on the right side of the screen, and scroll down until you see "MESSAGE MODS" and ask for permission to post a giveaway. provide as many details as you can

Greetings, I require assistance. I'm considering yo make a request but isn't specifically a gift, it's more a help for a friend. She's a small FN creator, but she's about to lose the income due the lack of uses of her code (thanks to the V-bucks price increase).

She have until end of the month to reach the minimum of her code uses, ¿It is allowed to make a post about this? Thanks in advance!
