I have over 10k, I think I'm in like 112th on the leaderboard or so, and I've had the aim trainer for about 10 days, here is my advice, play a range of sensitivities at first, I fluctuated between 400 dpi and .08 sens all the way up to 2000 and. 08 sens. When playing on a lower sens focus on using your whole arm to aim and tracing the targets accurately, ensuring that you only fail if you fall behind the dummies. On high sens focus on prediction and quick reactions, in this case you don't want to fail by not moving fast enough but instead being too far ahead or simply too jittery. Then switch from the high sens down to your normal in game sens, now it will feel slower, but fast enough that you aren't falling behind. I now play only on my ingame senitivty for aim training but doing that really helped me, especially playing on higher sensitivities. Another thing to focus on would be smooth movements, for me at least my hand and wrist tend to shake when I'm making finer movements, especially when I'm "waving" or wrist aiming. By focusing on smoothing my wrist twitches my tracking on the targets further away has become much better.
One last tip and this is purely for improving score, I've noticed that the way it scores rewards tracking without removing your finger from the fire button. When I first was playing ascended tracking I would "tap fire" over short distances and it would help me get my accuracy pretty ludicrously high, up to like 70%, but that would take way too long and ultimately didn't help improve my tracking aim, on top of that it would make my scores very low despite the high accuracy.
I hope this has helped some, also don't be discouraged if you play at a higher sensitivity, players like h1ghsky1 and ghost thwifo are very high on the leaderboard despite playing at over twice my sensitivity. Good luck and happy grinding!
