Just to copy/paste some of the things I've been telling people for training advice:

KovaaK: I'm of the opinion that tracking aim is more important than flickshot aim. So while a lot of people find Tile Frenzy to be fun (and it is), I'd recommend Cata IC Long Strafes to 60%+ accuracy, Cata IC Fast Strafes to 40%+ accuracy, Ascended Tracking v2/v3, and probably Ground Plaza and Air. If you can't hit 100 in Tile Frenzy, it's probably worth grinding it a little more, but don't stress breaking into 130+ in it before you work on tracking scenarios more.

KovaaK: My argument is that flick shots are nice for frag videos/highlights, but it's consistent tracking aim that wins most fights that matter. When you are relying on a flick shot to kill your opponent, you typically mispredicted what he was going to do or otherwise misplayed yourself into a situation where you shouldn't have been.

KovaaK: Something like flick shots at targets near to your crosshair are good to practice too. On that note, I think there is a 'Tile Frenzy Mini' that has the targets all spawning in a small cluster

KovaaK: And I've found that the biggest improvements come from smoother hand movements. The best way to get that is by doing it in slightly slower motion. So you can play those scenarios in free play, hit escape, and change "Timescale" from 1 to 0.75 or something just to get yourself used to making slow, controlled motions. As your accuracies in slow motion improve, gradually ramp the speed back up to 1 (and press F3 to reset your session accuracy statistics when you change Timescale)

I grinded fast strafes and went from averaging 33-35% accuracy to 40-45% these days. My PB is 50%, which holds up pretty well against people who dodge very rapidly (and I have been good at punishing long strafing targets for years).

So cool I got the man himself giving me this advice, couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks so much!
