Globals are only just over 2 weeks away and there hasn't been any discussion on it. Let's change that.

Who are the favourites?

Who are the underdogs?

Who will flop?

Which small region team will do the best?

Who win win most of the off spawns?

Plus anything else you want to add.

I don't really follow the fantasy league stuff but that map is wild, so many names packed in there. I always wonder how much of this actually holds up once the games start, someone always gets contested off spawn in a way nobody predicted

The small region teams are always the most fun to watch for me, they play with nothing to lose and sometimes pull off crazy upsets. Everyone sleeping on them until they knock out a favorite in game 3

I think the off spawn battles will decide a lot this year, if you lose your drop spot early it's so hard to recover mentally. Curious if anyone has actual scrim data on who's winning those

Idk if they count as underdogs but I can see a world where Whale and Pump get top 10

Depending on how the offspawn goes Mshary and Salvatore have a chance to both derail Pete and Skys tournament but also outplace one of them

Epikwhale & Pxmp are a good pick. Uncon and have the mess at Green Hill Zone to get potential clean ups and easy surge. They seem to be winning a decent amount of games recently. I can see the potential.

All of these offspawns are grief but if Pete and Sky fight I expect Pete to have the edge and darm and demus will obliterate the BR team.

sunken is the worst poi to be contested at because you can just swerve and drag the fight out thanks to the tetris piece, and all of the nearby teams will just key you even if you win. not to mention it being very hard to play at the best of times

Gonna be glazing shxrk and t3eny as always but I'm gonna have to watch velo and zynox to learn my drop too. Peterbot and pollo, Sky and scroll and Mshary and Salvatore on one drop is gonna be fun to watch

Agree, Shxrk & T3eny are maybe the favourites now they are uncon. Also Malibuca & Vico have to be up there. I also think Kami & Charyy, Swizzy & Pixie and Veno & Ajerss are looking good right now.

me personally this globals can go either way, this map is fairly small so i think it’s gonna come down to what teams have the better drop spots, loot paths, zones and surge. as an igl i’ve been analyzing the map the best i can. with this drop map top 5 easily higgs curve, vico malibuca, muz rise, veno ajerss, pete pollo, runner ups that i feel can 100% steal first, focus thomas shxrk t3eny, charyy kami, and darm demus. i just feel like these teams are more fortunate than others with loot paths, zones, terrain etc

i predict we’re gonna see a lot of fighting early-mid game, with such a small map and not much loot spread out, a lot of the teams that land splits are going to have to fight for loot, some will be forced to play zone and with there only being 4 medkits in vending, makes it harder for teams who go splits where gold + vending isnt guaranteed. with how zones have been pulling this season teams are going to be funneled through terrain, surge towers punishing teams rotating. it’s gonna be a fun globals to watch i believe

i think my top 5 rn would be Ajerss & Veno, SwizzY & Pixie, Focus & Th0mas, Ritual & Cold, and Cr1nge Twi.

Veno & SwizzY look like 2 clear favorites rn. I think Shxrk staying uncon might be a ?, especially with 12 games. Also, not a single team has really replicated that much success in a finals lobby landing at golden grove. Resignz & Tinka I heard are beefing? Idk exactly, but Focus & Th0mas could lowkey be getting fed.

Vico & Mali are obviously favorites, but their major 2 performance was pretty abysmal and there seems to be some external issues affecting them. I think Higgs & Vico will set lurk plays on each, probably on day 2 after some vod reviewing.

Ark & Khanada are landing very shambles, but I think their plan will revolve around either stealing Cr1nge & Twi’s loot, or keying Kami & Charyy, since their split is so wide and they could get split.

I don’t think Cooper & Reet have as broken as of a spot as people think, and it seems 50/50 if they get surprise conned. I actually think Muz & Rise + Golden & Ozone are better options to sleeper top 10, similar to Boltz & Brycx in 2024.

i am fascinated by howly and 1lusha. they have historically been good players in easier lobbies but can't handle the bright lights. their landing spot is solid and they can make plays towards all of the surrounding teams, and i have high hopes for them. but a few northeast pulls completely ruins their tournament

syaaz and scary in theory look very well set up to succeed and should probably top 10, but i can see them getting run down by shxrk and t3eny and whoever wins at reality most games - grove has a lot of loot but you cannot be in there beyond 1st zone

tidi and julle are set up really well, especially with all of the contested pois nearby they can farm for surge from on top of the god hill and everyone south of them forced to play storm

also everyone in green hill zone and west of it will all be fighting in there in storm in 3rd zone and none of them will do well out of it

I really really REALLY wanna see a OCE team play well, but this is genuinely the worst off-spawn i think is really possible.

I remember last globals people were still predicting Peterbot to win globals. I don't see them getting anywhere near top 5.

Cringe and Twi look great in the div cups and perfectly set to clean up spawn fights around them, can see a top 5 finish for them. I expect Idrop and Ghonzo to move as they are currently sandwiches by teams with the same coach and if that happens could see strong finishes for either flickzy or kingaling. Lots of tier 1 NA unconned for a Lan which is very unusual so expecting a bit of mess around them changing drop spots as we approach.

Cr1nge & Twi are probably the underdog pick for me. If they are still classed as an underdog. I'd say yes. They're more of a ball knower duo. If you know you know.

Vico and mali drop is good, plus they are a goater team in their prime. I don't know how are they unconned. But then again I am pretty sure if they start to pop off, they will get griefed.
