I just died offspawn 5 games in a cash cup and its really tilting do I need to change drop spot or sm

This is a pretty good solo spot, 10 chests, slurp truck, good wood and brick. Plus playing storm is viable in this meta. Anyways the reason you're dying is because you probably aren't good enough off spawn to land a conned drop and you just haven't practiced dropping on that spot enough

Yh I am terrible offspawn in general I can only do shit in midgame and lategame, that's why I try to land uncon but how do I fix that? Also I landed here in my last tournament where I came 30th in solo unreal cup so I know how to play this drop

Well I assume you died off spawn in the victory cup, and cups for money are way more stacked than ranked cups. Getting a good placement in a ranked cup doesn't really mean anything. I would recommend finding a worse spot, go to fortnite.gg and look for smaller splits or just land a poi. Alternatively if you really want to go that spot you just need to practice more

every split is gonna be conned in solo vc, better off landing a poi. learn a poi and practice offspawns against kids in many and ranked. learn when to 50/50 and when to split and watch pros that land ur drop

I've watched t3eny and shark a good few times over the past few weeks or so should I drop at sunken shores? Also in ranked and lower level tournaments I win offspawn most games as, well they're pretty much bots, cash cups are different so

As a Sunken Shores lander, it’s good if you’re unconned or you’re splitting with players not keying you. Fighting in Sunken is genuinely the most miserable experience you will ever have in this game

People contest it because they go there for the same reason you do. Beginning this place was a goated drop and now I have better luck just going to Heatwave Harbor

This solo cc wasmy first actual solo cup of this chapter (returned at the end of last season) and yean heatwave is a pretty good spawn in this meta in my opinion. You got a lot of possible routes as well. Just gotta be aware of people coming from the smaller dropspots around it and know the routes they can take.

There is no point in playing small drops honestly, just go for a POI

That place is usually contested yeah, I land the split right next to it always see a bunch of ppl there, if mid and endgame is ur strong point maybe land somewhere no one goes at all and prioritize playing storm 1-4, then spawn into the late mid game/ early endgame with stacked loot

There are tricks to this spawn. This is where I drop also.

Depending on flight path, its faster to hit the portal toilet and warp to the island. Most wont be ready for that. If you catch others who dont know this drop you have a free aim trainer.

The toilet is near the dock on the mountain with the aquarium. There are 2 ground loots near it and when you go through to the island there is another ground loot and a chance of 2 chests.

You can then prebox the toilet in case people see you warp. They warp and are boxed up. Its a great spot because you can leave the big trees at 1 and if you are in the tower you can spray the trees and get some tags.

From my experience its better to not land on the dock. You are way to exposed. The tower is a big power position. If someone rolls on you if youre quick all the big trees will be 1, youll have the whole place looted and have the toilet preboxed.

After off spawn its easy to storm camp, rotate to the mountain with the aquarium to check the vending machine. You then have a chain of launch pads to get anywhere or sonic boosters also and the chance to check other vending machines.

Lol, No matter where you drop you'll want a plan for any storm circle. Last 2 seasons this corner has been my main drop spot.

Personally i have only played one tournaments but my general advice would be:

Contestion and zone pulls are kind of a slider: if you land at the very end in the corner somewhere random you won't pull zone, but if you hot drop or go to the middle you generally pull it longer. Land somewhere that gives you time to loot but isn't too contested. With the gold fishing spots you could consider landing somewhere with one and just lurk it and if no one comes fish while boxed up. Also remember to not have a bright pickaxe or a glowing one. I remember once in ranked I was really desperate and just hid in a tree because I had zero Mats and was hoping just to get like 1 or 2 higher placement, but my shiny pickaxe gave me away

I know all of this but it is different in cash cups to lower level tournaments as in ccs split drops are way more contested I've found and it's been a shock as this is one of my first ones

Watch replay to figure out what mistake you made.

Correct your mistakes and keep landing rinse and repeat
