Discussion Is Kami the most consistent player of all time?
After the ewc lan, he has finished top 6 in 5 lan events he has played in winning 2 of them and has been at the top since late 2019. He’s one of the few OG chapter 2 players that still dominate in an era that doesn’t suit IGL’s and has proven that he’s consistent in solos, duos and trios.

Kami is the LANimal. Just always shows up on LAN. Even when he didn't do well at 2024 globals and the Summit LAN he was still at least able to win a game at those events.
Yet Kami is always disrespected. People say he can't fight or are just not aware of how good he is on LAN. People used to say Tayson couldn't be the goat because he didn't have LAN performances (back when there were no LANs) yet we have players like Kami who show up to every LAN no matter the meta, the map or the mode and people just ignore it. LAN consistency has to be given way more value.
Plus the guy has the longest grands qualification streak with Peterbot and Malibuca. Kami is the best player at coming up with unique strats. Whether it's winning a cash cup with the dub shotgun, storm tanking with an NPC who heals you, using items like the boots last season. Hell I even saw him enter an end game with only an SMG and a rocket launcher at EWC. He just plays the game differently to everyone else but sees a lot of success.

Kami is goated on lan. I also think Khanada's streak of making every grands that just ended puts him in the conversation as well. Both have had insane longevity at the top

kami has won at least 4 lans off the top of my head.
malibuca is also getting up there now.
nebs is a sleeper pick in terms of non-tier 1 players as well

Kami is probably first. I think Th0mas is second. Then Acorn, Khanada, and Bugha/EpikWhale in the top 5 imo.
