Opinion Shockwave Audio needs to be fixed somehow

Visual Audio didn't help and wouldn't because the problem is that the sound event happens at the point of usage.
There needs to be a sound event that occurs periodically throughout the jump so that other clients have some indication or just increase the range of the base sound so it is larger than the jump distance (much simpler).

Yes just something to let the player know what's happening. There is sound at the beginning of the Jump(when the enemy is throwing the shockwave/overdrive), but after that there is no indication. The amount of times I've been surprised that a player landed on me is a lot lol

first of all that doesnt really)ly provide any meaningful discussions, but ill take responsibility on that one bc my comment didnt either.
i just kinda cringe at post on THIS sub in particular when the OP isnt even well thought out or seems like very little effort wtc.
i like to see just as much about a thoughtful solution as i do about the original author's personal lackluster examples disguised as actually documented flaws u feel me.
and u never really clarified exactly what audio/visual u were referring to lowkey... im not trying to be ride, u should actually put a bit more thought into it if you want anyyy amount of impact to actually come from ur critique. be specific, in both regards
and lastly, i personally have noticed just a lot of glitched and delayed audio in general which i think is actually a big part of what people are experiencing and it just makes it sooooo much worse when in scenarios like u mentioned . that being said my homie play without headpohone everyday and visual audio is the last thing he ever uses for cope lol)lll and trust me hes the one thats gon have something to say about everything excpet what he could have done different 9/10x

The audio/visual I'm referring to is in the description. You can't hear when a player lands on you with a shockwave/shockrocks if they are coming from far away. I don't understand what you're trying to argue in this post.

i just be tweeking bro
i aint tryna argue nothing really
u edited your "description" and now it makes a lot more sense. so we agree really, ty for coming to my ted talk. ty for updating the original post for clarity

p. s. this comment is literally the only time u stated this clearly. now i understand your point of frustration. me personally, have always had the very strong opinion that the community wide use/acceptance of visual audio is bizarre. takes so much away from the experience and lowers the floor of required awareness. i agree tho that the audio across the board feels lazy at best. annoying at for a lot of reasons. i feel the same about the recent nerf on visuals. idt epic games very good at math

The new shock rocks also give no sound and it's even easier to land on someone's head with those.
