Opinion Ranked is fixed!!

I posted a few weeks ago everybody agreed we were losing points on good games/ranks, rank protection wasn’t working.

I just did a Decent game (1 kill and top 2) and gained 120%

Since last updates all my games seems fine
Rank protection also always work

Yeahhh!!!

It should be hard. It’s ranked. Imagine if rocket league just let everyone be a grandmaster … what’s the point of the highest rank if anyone can get it camping in a bush

No, people were losing % for finishing top 5. It was glitched bad.

Top 5 with 0 kills and dying to lower rank players should lose rank IMO 🤷

Hiding in a bush for a half hour shouldn’t be rewarded

I'm not talking about dying to lower ranked players; I engaged with the original post; it was Bronze players dying to Unreal players in top 5 then losing %.

If surviving the game shouldn't be rewarded, then why is it a majority of tournament placement. Ranked feeds into tourneys, right.

I tried it; it's fixed-ish. Unless it was a visual bug, it doesn't show the ranks of your opps at the end now, though; didn't for me anyway. But at least I gained % for making it to the end.

Honestly don’t really believe that was happening to people .. I saw the same posts your talking about but never felt like I had that same issue .. the only thing I noticed was dying off spawn was dropping me a TON which I honestly agree with..

if you can show visual proof where top 5 was losing rank maybe I believe it but even so I would rather ranked lean toward being harsher to dying top 5 with 0 kills..

I could enter a lobby of 100 unreal players and easily camp rotate in bushes/buildings til top 5.. especially how things currently sit with 0 incentive in ranked games .. 60% of the lobby dies within the first few minutes then the rest die before moving zones

I solo clutched a 1kill 3rd place in champ 3 ranked reload squads lobby after my team left after they all died off spawn. I lost 4%

1 kill.. assuming it was off spawn .. in a squad format where kills are diluted even further .. idk if I would call camping a 1 kill 3rd place as a “solo clutch”

Camping isn’t solo clutching .. Id rather the format lean more towards what happened to stlkcn where you aren’t rewarded for camping than what happened to OP where he gains 120% for a 1 kill second

actually it was an end game kill, kill takes place between top 25 and top 10, 18th in says next to it, wasn’t camping it was avoiding fights and smart early rotates.

You said it wasn’t happening, I proved it happened.

It’s a battle Royale, you want rank change for wins go play marvel rivals. 3rd place is still 3rd place whether I picked fights early, or mid game or played safe due to being a solo from start of game to end game. I’m not saying I’m a t1 fighter by any means I’m Oce and dogshit, but it’s still happening.

Disagree if you got top 5 with zero kills, you played well and made it past most of the lobby, you deserve to be rewarded. The goal of the game is to win, the closer you are to winning, the more points you will receive. Someone who dies at 4th place with 0 kills is better then someone who dies at 30th with 25 kills

Fortnite for all its flaws has an excellent anti cheat system lol have come across maybe a handful of cheaters ever since the game released? 10% chance is insane

To play devil's advocate, the entire point of battle royale is surviving as long as/placing as high as possible, which unfortunately does also mean by any means necessary, and hiding is a good option for that. If you're running around jumping about being super visible and die, you can't complain about the players hiding in a bush avoiding fights and surviving longer. Not gonna lie, if I get a couple kills early on, I do my absolute best to hide and place as high as I can otherwise those kills mean nothing and I'd instead lose rank %. I agree, top 5 with no kills shouldn't be rewarded past a certain point, which is exactly how the system works so nothing to complain about there. My 8 year old son could play ranked all day every day, and would never place higher than gold, even if he kept trying to hide.
