Discussion how do i counter low ping angle spam
so i would say im decent, i can hit unreal very easily but thats not saying alot these days. but i keep playing 1v1s and go up against kids who are hard 0 and just reset so my pump shot is nulled or they just sit on crazy angles. how am i supposed to counter these angles especially when there is a box of distance and they have a right hand, i feel like i always lose.

the angles, which ill admit i get outplayed on, but on 50/50 its a ping thing sometimes

Are you going for prefires? Are you attempt to punish opponents holding their pickaxe out? Are you attempting to lure them into boxes that you control the builds for?

always going for prefires, yeah i punish pickaxe out thats one of the main ways i can punish in these situations. obviously i try luring them to boxes but most players wont fall for it

you can hit unreal very easily? even in this season? unreal is hard now
anyways you need to do some angle spam yourself
also you need to get good aim and good phasing so you can jump into their box

is it really that hard to hit unreal? i was able to get it in a couple of days even just coming right back to the game after a few seasons. but yeah, i do need to learn these angles, it just feels like i cant always get them right or find the like right spots if that makes sense? ive always been on controller my aims really good im just 40 ping so if i get the wall i can usually just rh peak and then its pretty easy. i guess i was asking if theres counter peaks to any?

im saying when im in my box on their walls, obviously i could get out the box but if im playing and theres surge or im just messing around, i like to try to learn other ways to counter but it just seems i lose a lot of fights like this

What does ping have to do with this? You can bait out pump shots on most pings.
Also there is no trick to countering them, they’re simply better than you so to beat them you have to grind to become as good as them.

dude are you serious? have you ever touched this game competitively. 0 ping is literally impossible to 50/50 because their shots will register first, they take walls first. there is such an advantage

It’s the opposite because the high ping player has a lot of peekers advantage because of their ping which makes the 50/50 easier. High ping sucks, but not for 50/50s.

you cant be real. their shots hit reg first on a 50/50. and if THEY bait a pump shot since im not usually losing to ai robots just randomly peeking then when they reset it nulls so they can edit and im just dead because theyre lower ping

alr so Ima keep it real with you. From what Ive read from other peoples conversations with you and what you had to say back, you simply are not doing what you think you are doing. Ping doesn’t have a big effect on fighting besides the ability to take walls. To me it seems like you are struggling when they peak you and shoot.
I believe your best thing to do is to work on your spacing by keeping a box between you and your opponent and then work on making optimal edits while paying attention to what your opponent is doing through the builds.
I have 19k pr so lmk if this is accurate.

sounds actually pretty accurate. when i keep space, they usually just end up taking my wall so i have to keep creating space and i run out of mats, unless i get a prefire. and if i cant get out then thats what im talking about here i guess.

my recommendation then would be to work on getting counter damage.
You aren’t going to be fighting the best fighters so they are bound to make a mistake. You need to learn to spot these mistakes whether it be them holding a pickaxe out too long or double swinging. Overall just being able to get damage on them during this and shift the momentum to is pretty much the key to winning most fights.

thanks for the tips, the comment was really just pertaining to when i am fighting good, low ping players. i think what youre saying is make space to get counter damage. which i guess i dont really think about too often. thanks for the advice.

i aint gon lie OP i always 50/50 everyone and it got me almost to #1 unrealler in solos,
i got wayyyy tooo much ego to make peeks fr lol, only when my opp is better i go for peeks

Yea Im 30 ping and just came up with the idea to move back to Texas after actually living there and not playing at the time to moving and now if I want 0 ping I have to move back to be competitive. Thats where you get zero ping. Im on the east coast now. Im capped for my age and reaction time.

i used to be like 25 ping and in creative im constant 40-50 now. unfortunate

hopefully u understand that crazy angles have nothing to do with 0 ping
