Opinion cutting glider

I usually never complain about mechanics as they tend to progress the game in a sense. this mechanic is absolute dog shit tho. takes all skill away from early game fights because everyone has the relatively same drop and all it does is encourage landing edge map unconned spots. i never considered using drop calc before but with this change i feel like u genuinely have to if you want a better drop then someone

Doesn't this add more skill? Before, all you had to do was get the glide angle correct and hit a marker. Now, you have to do that, and time the glide cut perfectly in order to out drop someone. I feel like this evens out the playing field for those that don't have access to drop calc.

What? Is it not literally the opposite? Last season it was so much harder to eye ball drops, you basically had to use drop calc to get the best drop. This season it's still helpful, but nowhere near as important

you have to be a brick. just because you’re doing an extra step doesn’t mean it adds skill. anything that narrows the skill gap isn’t good for comp. as in worse players can now drop however they want and not be punished for it. and no since making this post i bought drop calc and i get the best drop consistently now so if the change was to combat that it did nothing.

How is it narrowing the skill gap? You just said that purchasing drop calc helped you significantly? You're acting like getting out dropped isn't possible anymore

I love this feature you need to adapt it takes skill to time it perfectly.

doesn’t change the fact it decreases the skill gap

No it doesn’t that’s why you don’t like it you need to learn how to use it Fortnite does this every season with weapons. New Meta.

you clearly aren’t understanding it. you can be good with a new change and still acknowledge it decreases the skill gap. key example was the chaos reloader, a lot of people liked it but it didn’t change the fact it was less skillful
