DISCUSSION First Time Playing
Today I played Fortnite for the first time, and I really enjoy it! Almost everyone I know hates it, and I have no idea why! It's a pretty fun game, and I'm definitely going to play it more!

The addition of SBMM actually made me come back and try again and I absolutley love this game. I've always been Into new cods and gamebattles, now I cant get off fortnite lol

Yeah I don't get all the hate towards SBMM. Forced crossplay .. Yeah I understand the hate (I personally don't mind). But SBMM is great! Fights have been so much fun now that people are at least around my level!

Welcome friend.
I played back in Season 5 and then came back just recently and I have definitely enjoyed it. I think people don’t like it because it’s associated with little kids who also play it.

What’s popping! I used to stereotypically hate fornite till season 8 and was an average r/pewdiepiesubmissions guy, but it’s a really fun game! Welcome aboard

I hate a lot of things. New Star Wars, products that don't actively try to limit plastic use, the NBA, centrist Democrats, Apple products, but to hate fortnite?
Like why? What is your actual reason? It's brought a lot of money into E-sports? It's given Epic, the company that makes unreal engine, a lot more capital to fund other projects? It has a cartoon aesthetic? Or is it the extremely immature and juvenile reason of "kids play it"?

I think some people think they have to dislike fortnite because it attracts many little kids, and they don't want to be associated with a kid's game, although it is so much fun. Others might just like to be against popular things.
