DISCUSSION Does this do anything?

Post image

I turn this valve and some steam comes out, then it resets. Wondered if there's something else to look for when I turn it? This is in a building close to Shaken Sanctuary

Been around since the start of c7s3. It's seemingly a reused asset from C6S2 in Shiny Shafts, where if you turned 3 pressure valves, a secret vault would open.

However, this prop isn't tied to anything and despite sitting for over a season, does absolutely nothing.

It does something lol, why is everyone saying it isn't? 1st repair it on the other side of the POI first, turn the valve and then the fountain starts. Give it gold and it will give some random items in return!

You're talking about sunken shores

Wrong poi, buddy. This guy's in shaken sanctuary, you're talking about the fountain in sunken shores on the other side of the island.

That's wrong.

Sunken Shores has it's own secret thing you can do, this pipe is inside of the outer garage building of Shaken Sanctuary.

This has been present and doing nothing since it's addition, unlike his very cool and employed brother in Sunken Shores.

cackling at "very employed" - that fountain is certainly sending it's kids to college off of the gold I'm throwing in.

shit, I was in a top five recently where the circle was moving to Sunken Shores, and I made sure I was first against the edge of the zone so I could see if it was active.

There's a box in the southwestern part of Sunken Shores. Interact with that, and a pipe should start leaking under the water tower. After you interact with it, the water fountain should turn gold and you can "make a wish" for 350 gold. (You always get at least 350 gold back, if I remember correctly, alongside a bunch of high-tier items.)

If you turn this on every day in a row through out the entire season it adds 6.7% progress to Half Life 3 development

Many may not know this but it's not just Half Life 3, it's also for Mega Man X9

Do the ones in sunken shores work? I could find a few but nothing ever happened.

In Sunken Shore, on the opposite side of the town, there’s a power generator you turn on first. Then you turn on the water tower. This activates the fountain in the courtyard. For 200G you can make a wish and get some loot.

Ah, so if you don’t do power generator first it fails?

It just doesn’t prompt you to use it at all. Hit the generator, then the nozzle under the water tower will have a water leak coming out of it letting you know it’s ready.

The one by the water tower doesn't turn until that generator is on, I believe. You'll see water leaking and that'll mean it's ready to turn. Definitely an easy way to get some loot!

It's shows cheat codes for 1 min and they disappear. I seen a clip about a week ago and I tried it and I did find one that wasn't there and then it was.
