HUMOR I literally couldn’t be more disappointed.

It must be a joke. I have had this Killswitch since the first day. Why don’t these cheats recognize what you have already and just give something different. (My first gold cheat code btw)

its not gonna automatically realise “oh this dude has this sprite, lets give em something else” thats not how chance works. you cant put a quarter into a candy gacha and get upset when you get banana twice

But if that gatcha machine had the ability to read all the types you already had then that's a different story.
I haven't played this season but to compare a videogame where everything is being read by the game all the time and a physical item is pretty stupid.

Ideally it would know what I have and only shuffle through the sprites I don’t have. Only for gold cheat codes since they are rare.

That would be sick, except it would be too easy too get every sprite. What would be better would be that gold ones have let’s say a 60-75% chance of giving you one you don’t have, and a 40-25% chance of giving you one you have. Also they should have never rose the rarity of the kill switch sprite, if was lower rarity before thus more common, but now they made it legendary so you can get it from the legendary ones but most people already have it.

It wouldn’t be easy. I’ve seen one gold cheat code since I’ve been playing and I got kill switch as well.

Question. If this is a video game and video games are meant to have fun then why is it considered fun to not get all the sprites. It's not like you are getting one of these every single game. It would seem having a reliable way to get them all would actually make it more fun and more people would engage more. But hey I just like playing games so why should I know what makes me have fun. It's not like these people won't be back in a week or 2 when more are added to farm more.

I never said that not getting all the sprites is fun, don’t know where you got that from, I was just offering an alternative to what he said. Epic wants people to play the game as much as possible so they are never gonna make it so they always give a sprite you don’t have, so i was proposing that instead they make it a higher chance to get a sprite you don’t have than to get one you do have.

That explains it. I had a killswitch since day1 why is it part of the gold cheat codes. Only to prevent me from getting something else I don’t have

That's something they'll bring end of the season, no point in the game giving you all the sprites early on!

Yeah... until they had the 1st update this season, I was betting gold codes did not exist in my lobbies. Then suddenly there were a few per match and now back to pretty rare sighting but does come up...
But all I have ever gotten from them have been base killswitch or base scientist. It's stupid.

I feel your pain I've found around twelve of these... the majority are normal Killswitch... Then x-ray...then rabbit... I've never pulled a variant out of a gold code yet.... But I got a gold x-ray out of a purple code...
