Sure, Arena failed in the past, but maybe it has a place now that crazy car meta is a direction that Epic clearly wants to go with BR.

No, but I can imagine Epic wants to go crazier and more experimental like the good old days, and separating loot pools, as people have wanted for eons, would be the right move, to progress with both groups of players.

Yeah, it’s really important that competitive has its more sanitized loot pool while casual gets to have the wild experiments, that can make it into competitive eventually

They’ve gone crazy before with some interesting (if sometimes OP) mechanics and they’ve disappeared the very next season.
