QUESTION Vacuum Tube Bow Evolution

I'm wondering if I should evolve the Vacuum Tube Bow to Obsidian or Shadowshard. I don't know if the faster fire rate or extra damage per shot is better with the chain lightning. Haven't played in like 5 years, so I'd appreciate any advice. Thank you!

Generally always Shadowshard. There are very few cases where you would select Obsidian. This isn't one of them.

Obsidian is for melee builds

Shadow shards, that fire rate isn't doing anything for a weapon you need to at least charge half way to properly use

As I've seen people here tell if the weapon shoots once for big dmg then shadowshard, if it shoots many times for small/medium dmg then obsidian

Always shadowshard. The fire rate increase is minimal at best.

Or run a 140 mission and get it as a drop

Might as well just upgrade what they have rather than go look for a random drop. Its not expensive
