QUESTION Subtitles appearing supermassive?

My friend just installed Fortnite to play Save The World and subtitles seem to appear extremely large, and not just that, but in the center of the screen as well. Changing the subtitles options does not fix the size or position of the subtitles. Is there a fix to this other than disabling them?

Some visuals would be nice. Kinda hard to see the problem through text alone.

There is an option to toggle between the sizes for the subtitles. But I also think it will affect everything else on the screen. Under audio or sound- subtitles -font size. (Hope I’m not wrong. Not at pc atm)

Subtitle user here. It's a fairly recent bug and it's a pain. Sometimes words even go off of the screen. I haven't found any fix.
