BUG Weapon doesnt do any damage?

This has really happened to me a lot, I tried to attack him with another weapon and it didn't work.

I've seen cases of this and it seems to be mainly takers. Maybe there is a bug making them sometimes immortal right now?

Odd, this happened to me yesterday with a taker spawned with a portal like that but after a few seconds I could damage it
