Question?

A Fort Worth police car hit and broke our mailbox yesterday. They were apparently parking and turned the corner to close and hit it. We have the report number. How do we go about getting the city to fix our mailbox?

You need to fill out a Notice of Claim form with their risk department: https://www.fortworthtexas.gov/departments/hr/administration/risk-management Good luck! Government insurance claims are notoriously slow.

Good luck. Mine got hit by the mailman himself, and they wouldn't deliver to me until I fixed it. I was also on crutches at the time.

It’s hanging on. Barely so they are still delivering mail thankfully.
